My Summary

My Experience

I have worked at a nursery in Weybridge called merry-go-round where i had many responsibilities and tasks to take on during the day. This would include preparing snack with them, giving them one to one care for each induvidual needs, followng the EYFS to further their development. Whilst being at merry-go-round i also looked after two children aged 7 and 10 years old after school hours until their parents come home from work. I help them with their homework, prepare snacks and occasionally dinner and take them to after school activities.

I am have also worked in a nursery called red balloon with ages 4 months to 1 and a half year olds. My duties include: Having that social connection with them, following their own needs, milks, sleep times and snack.

I have previously left my current due to the boys going full time at nursery. I worked with the family as a nanny 4 days a week Tuesday to Friday 7.30am - 6.00pm. I look after 3 children twin boys now aged 3 (i have been with them since the age of 6months)and a 6 year old girl who goes to school. My day consist of preparing healthy nutritious meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. Getting them ready for the day ahead. Dropping and collecting them from nursery and school. Preparing activities for both aged children. Taking them to clubs and soft play areas to have the socialisation with other children of thier age and other ages.

I worked with a family of three for 5 months but unfortunately they had to move away due to the dads work.
The ages of the children were 1,3,5 two boys and one girl. Three days a week Tuesday to Thursday my hours were 8.30 till 5.30. My routine would be taking the eldest to school and the middle child to nursery. I would take the youngest out on playdates to different activites/classes. I would also make healthy nutritious meals for breakfast,lunch and dinner.

My current position i am looking after two boys. My day starts at 7.30 getting them ready for school dropping them off at 8.30 then returning to the house to complete house jobs then from 12 till picking up from school i have free time. Then from 3.15 till 6 i bring them home complete homework with them or reading. I will also make them dinner before the parents return home from work. During the school holiday periods i have them from 8 till 6 and we would go out site seeing,out door activities, playdates, activities indoors,theme parks.

My Qualifications

I have now been working with children for 10 years and have a level 3 certificate in child care along with level 2 and 1 certificate.I also a level 2 in health and social care. I studied all of these qualifications at brooklands college.
I am CRB checked and i am first aid qualified.
I hold a clear driving licence.

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (net)
