About Me
I am a part time (Thur/Fri) Primary school teacher with availability to Nanny for you from Mon-Weds.
I have a 3 year old daughter who is at pre-school. so I have availability Mon-Weds.
I have some availability in the school holidays and evenings/ weekends too if needed.
I am sensitive to the different needs of each child and have a calm, creative and positive approach when working with children.
I am organised and efficient within the home and more than happy to carry out a range of domestic chores if needed.
I am comfortable with (and have plenty experience of) working from family homes while the parent is there too also working from home, and I like to incorporate the parents' methods to ensure consistency for children at all times.
I have experience of working with children with special needs.
I live with my husband (a computer programmer at Moulton college) our daughter Luca and we have my 12 year old step daughter (artist in the making!) with us half of the time too.
I enjoy cycling, cafes, animals, art, reading, family days out, cooking and visiting beautiful places.
My favourite subjects to teach at school are literacy (with lots of role-play) art, maths, music and phonics.

My current (and most diverse) role is that of primary school class teacher in which I teach Reception and Key Stage 1. Within this role I am a mentor for trainee teachers through a course at the well-renowned children's centre, 'Pen Green'.
My degree is BA Early Years development and Education with qualified teacher status and my current mentor training is allowing me to accumulate credits towards a future Master's degree.
