About Me
We are a welcoming and fun family of five looking for a nanny to provide wrap-around care for our two boys and a girl, aged 11, 9 and 7 years old. We are looking for someone available to start work from September 2025 onwards.
We are based in Headington in Oxford. We are two medical doctors, one working for the NHS and the other for the University. Our 2 younger children go to the local primary school just round the corner. The eldest is at secondary school and more independent. They are all lively, love being outside and doing messy activities. The eldest does football and scouts, our middle son is a board games fanatic and enjoys swimming and gymnastic, and our daughter has become football made and also enjoys singing and beaver scouts.
We were lucky enough to have the same wonderful nanny for 4 years and have had two au pairs and another nanny since. We try to provide the best possible place for a nanny to work, and hope our previous experience can help make you feel welcome too. If you are driving to us we have a space on our drive where you could park. We have two cats and 1 guinea pig.
My Requirements
We are looking for a nanny to provide after school care 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday, we would also consider someone who could do 2 or 3 days but would really prefer to cover all 4).
The school is a short walk away, our nanny would collect the children, take them to after school activities, help them with any homework, and play with them before preparing their evening meal and starting bedtime (3pm - 7pm).
We could also potentially provide some additional hours of housekeeping work while the children were at school for the right person.
We would pay around £18 hour with the possibility of prospective holiday pay but we would be prepared to discuss these elements with the right person.
