About Me

Hello

My name is jillian and i work alongside my daughter (another registered childminder) in the mere green / four oaks area of Sutton Coldfield and i am a proud mother of 4 children who are know all grown up.

We are both registered childminders (my daughter has been childminding 4 years/I've been childminding 30 years)... (A few of the childten i used to care for still visit me regularly and have over time become a very close part of my family)

we have called our setting 'home from home' as we want all children to feel at home in the setting and offer warm friendly care where your child(ren) can play and learn in a safe and happy environment, the setting will offer a large area with plenty of space and resourses, a sleep room for the younger children, a room for the older children with suitable resources including board games ect.

Since registering we both have found childminding a very rewarding job where every day is different, and it gives us pleasure to know that we can have a positive impact on a child's life!

- the setting is close to sutton park and other amenities, we take regular outing with the children to the park, play area, soft play, toddler (play groups) including 'tickety boo', library ect

- their is a range of activities availiable for the children including painting, cooking, role play, fun with colours & counting, drawing, writing and general creative activities and water play (where the children can enjoy getting messy!) including many more to promote enjoyment, fun and learning.

the children go outdoors daily also. x
