I am a qualified Primary School Teacher, with many years experience in teaching the early years curriculum,as well as an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have experience working with children of all ages ranging from birth to age 12 and have been childminding for 18 years. My 22 yr old daughter is my registered assistant and is training to register in her own right. We live with my 19yr old son who is studying at college and we also have a number of cats. We offer a fun, caring family environment where children can learn and play with a range of indoor and outdoor toys. We provide healthy snacks and meals and opportunities to explore the local community. We offer full time and term time only contracts and separate school holiday care. We accept government funded hours and accept payments through vouchers and tax free childcare accounts. Our whole family is DBS checked and have paediatric first aid training. We keep up to date with all required training including safeguarding and food hygiene.
My Experience
I taught for 12 years in the Borough of Enfield and for one year in Redbridge and Essex in between having my two children.
I have experience teaching all age ranges from Nursery to Yr 6 including 4 years as a Reception Teacher. I have been a registered childminder since 2007 and loved every minute!
