My Experience

I have been childminding for 22 years and worked in a playgroup previous to this. I feel that a good relationship with parents is the key to success within my home to letting children feel happy and settled. I have a wide range of both indoor and outdoor toys suitable from babies right through to the older child which will keep any child occupied during the day. These include duplo bricks, dressing up, jigsaws, games, arts and crafts, playdough to name but a few. I like to go on outings and these include the local park, picnics, beach, farm/zoo and also soft play areas. I have a 9 seater car which is fully insured for business use and is complete with a wide range of car seats. I also have various items available for use within my house and these include highchair, cot, travel cot, prams etc.

My Qualifications

I have a list of childcare qualifications which include first aid, child protection, NICMA quality first level 3, a developmental programme for 2 year olds, Level 2 Food Hygiene and special needs. This are just a few but all certificates can be seen on initial visit. I keep myself up to date with courses and attend childcare courses run by both NICMA and the Early Years Team. I promote sharing and working together during playtime and allow children to lead the direction of their play whilst giving attentive supervision as this gives them a sense of independence. I also treat every child as an individual as this promotes self confidence.

My Availability

I currently have places available for both full


time and part time children under 5 and also over 5 and at present pick up from any local nursery/playgroup and also most Primarys. other schools may be considered . My working hours are 730am to 5pm Monday to Friday Contact me on.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

£25 per half day and £45 per full day or £200 per week if everyday full time which includes food , snacks and drinks. I promote healthy eating and will provide healthy meals and snacks. Meals can be provided by parents if required or if special dietary needs are needed to be met. I accept childcare vouchers, cash., cheques and also tax credits. Fees can be paid weekly or monthly in advance and a standing order can be set up if required.
