Hello, my name is Katie, I am a 34 year old OFSTED registered nanny, with over 16 years experience in caring for children from newborn to 14 years.
I am currently looking for work either part or full time.
I am a caring and reliable person who adores children and working with families. I enjoy being creative and providing children with stimulating activities. I like to promote children's independence whilst supporting them and caring for their needs. As well as caring for children I am able to provide healthy home cooked meals, keep a clean and tidy home and run errands, including but not limited to; grocery shopping, caring for pets, dog walking, school runs and extra curricular activities. So that you can arrive home to happy well fed children and a clean and relaxed home.
I am currently looking to start with a new family in December but i am open to starting earlier if required.
I am also available for evening and weekend babysitting, weddings & events.

My Experience
I hold a BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
My career has always revolved around caring for children, from babysitting to working in schools and nurseries. I have enjoyed working for many different families as a nanny caring for children from new born to 14 years.
I have experience in sleep training and potty training, helping you to establish and maintain a routine in your home whilst promoting the child's independence.

Katie has been collecting my daughter and her friend from school since October, bringing them home to our house and giving them dinner / looking after them until we get home from work. The girls love Katie and she is great. Highly recommend.

Katie is equally brilliant with parents and children. She communicates clearly, is professional and is keen to go the extra mile. The kids love her, too. From creating fun games to ensuring they do the things they need to do, Katie is attentive and makes it enjoyable. We’re really pleased with her as our nanny including doing pick ups, cooking meals and cleaning.

We have had the privilege to have Katie as our private nanny. She is polite, personable, reliable and trustworthy. Katie has helped me navigate family life as a single mum with two older children and a newborn. She is dependable, wonderfully caring, loving and nothing is too much trouble. She has sole care of the children including light housework which has enabled me to recover from childbirth and get back to work. Katie is 100% part of the family and she will be sorely missed in our home. All the best for the future & onwards & we will definitely stay in touch and use Katie in the future as she has a special place in our family’s hearts. Great communication and lovely homely setting for my little one to be dropped off at. Felt at ease and comfortable with Katie and my little one loved her. Definately will be having her nanny for us in the future.

Katie is a brilliant nanny, our daughter was 8 months old when Katie started with us and she took to her straight away. Going back to work and leaving your child is an incredibly stressful time but Katie was fantastic, she kept us up to date throughout the day, sent us pictures and wrote down how the day had gone. Our daughter has so much fun with Katie and is always happy to see her when she arrives, I would recommend Katie to anyone she is a lovely person and genuinely cares for child.

Ocassionaly Katie looks after my toddler. I recommend her to everyone. Katie is a very nice person, she is very active and makes it immediately apparent that she knows how to care for children. You can 100% trust her. I also attended a group where Katie, alongside the children she was currently taking care of, attended too, and the children she had with her appeared very joyful and calm.

We were so lucky to find Katie to look after our two very lively children, now 2 and 5. She has built excellent relationships with them and us. We one hundred percent trust her to keep the children safe and care for them whilst we work. Our daughter has so much fun attending play groups, walks outdoors and playing games in the house and garden with Katie. Our son is dropped off and collected from school happily. She prepares them delicious, healthy meals and keeps our house clean and tidy. It is so nice to come home from work and the kids bathed, happy and ready for bed.
