About Me
My name is Sandra and I have been a registered Childminder for over 30 years. I have three adult children, who have all left home. I live in a three bedroom house with a large enclosed garden in the village of Chiseldon which is close to J15 on the M4, on route between Marlborough and the motorway and minutes away from the Great Western Hospital. It is a non smoking household and my home is shared by my very friendly cat.
My Experience
I really enjoy my job and I believe this is reflected in the care the children receive. I offer a 'home from home' environment working within the EYFS. I bring experience in caring for children from birth to adult with most of the children in my care arriving as little babies and staying until they have settled into secondary school.
We are mobile as I drive a seven seater car which means I can take the children out and about during my working week. These outings vary from play parks, soft play areas, museums and farms as well as attending the local toddler group and library.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered and qualified to NVQ Level three in Childcare, Learning and Development and have current First Aid and Safeguarding certificates. As and when I attend other short training courses to keep my childcare knowledge up to date.
My Availability
At present I work Monday to Friday from 7.45am until 6pm. I offer a before and after school service taking children to and collect them from local schools and preschool as well as full and part time care. If childminding is needed outside these hours please ask about availability.
At this moment I have childcare vacancies, either full or part time.
