About Me
Hello, my name is Cathryn.
I am a friendly and experienced Ofsted registered Childminder offering a professional and reliable childminding service in Hayes, Kent. I have been registered since June 2003, and in my last three Ofsted inspections my thriving setting has been graded Outstanding. My family home is a semi-detached house, with a secure, spacious garden, in Chatham Avenue, Hayes - approx 8 minute walk to Hayes Station, and approx 5 minute walk to the 119/146, 314 or 353 bus routes. Unrestricted on-street parking is available outside my setting.
I will offer your child/ren a safe, fun, caring and stimulating home from home environment. We make regular trips out to parks/playgrounds, libraries, the woods etc. At home we enjoy messy play, arts & crafts, cooking, music, story time – plus many other activities. We also make time for lots of fun and games in the garden! I ensure there is time every day for each child to rest, and play independently.
A morning snack, lunch and cooked dinner are all available.
I can accept Expanded Funding, Two Year Old Funding, Universal Hours, and Extended Entitlement. Also, tax free childcare and childcare vouchers.
I can offer drop off/collection to/from my local pre-school - St Mary's, Hayes, and my local primary school - Hayes Primary.
We are a non-smoking family.
I have daily access to our 7-seat family car.
My Experience
My childminding service has been open and thriving since June 2003 (20+ years of experience, with children of all ages and abilities).
My last Ofsted inspection took place on 21 January 2020, when I was graded OUTSTANDING for a third consecutive time.
