About Me
Hi i am a Ofsted registered outstanding graded childminder, i work along side my husband
We work hard to provide the children with great learning opportunities and experiences.
We have a large secure garden where the children and I grow our own fruit and vegetables, enabling the children to become involved in trying new things.
We have a large play room and a quiet room where children can sleep in a calm, peaceful and cool environment, this room has a CCTV monitor for us to keep an eye on them whilst they sleep.
We encourage the children to visit places of interest in our local communities, and we visit play groups, soft play, parks, and local shops daily.
We do activities including painting, gluing, cooking, sensory play, and exercise time.
We strive to ensure every child is encouraged to reach their full potential and record this in termly reports that are available via our communication app.
We am registered to take Early Years Free Funding for 2, 3 and 4 years old.
We also take Childcare Vouchers

My Experience
I has worked in childcare for many years, I have been a Childminder previously, a PreSchool Manager, Crèche Manager, Nursery Nurse and worked for the NCMA (Pacey) supporting childminders in Maldon, i have been graded Outstanding in my last 2 Ofsted inspection. We achieved a 5* food hygiene rating from Rochford Council in every Health and Hygiene inspections

I can't recommend Sharon highly enough! Our daughter has flourished in her care from an early age & continues to do so! She treats all the kids as her own & that speaks volumes in itself! if you are looking for childcare look no further!

Our daughter has been with BusyBees full time for the last 9 months and has truly thrived in their care. She is always very happy to be going to "Sharon and Claire's" and I can honestly not fault the care they offer. All of the children are obviously very happy and the house is filled with love and smiles.
Activities and experiences are wide and varied, including cooking, going to local playgrounds and playgroups (sometimes on the bus - cue much excitement!) reading, arts and crafts, dressing up, counting and numbers and a whole lot more. The wide variety of activities and experiences is helping to develop a happy, confident and social little girl, who is encouraged to reach her full potential.
They have also identified potential development issues and are extremely supportive in helping to address these in conjunction with other specialist services.
Having also had experience of full time nursery care, in my view, the care offered at BusyBees is exemplary. I believe that the breadth of experiences offered, especially by being able to leave the setting and go to the greengrocer as a simple example, are invaluable and help the children to develop a much more rounded awareness of the world, something that is almost impossible in a fixed nursery setting.
Most importantly, our daughter feels totally happy and secure in their care. She has developed in leaps and bounds and Sharon, Claire and their assistants are a big part of that. I believe you would have to go a very long way to better the care, consideration, love and service they offer.

My daughter has been with Sharon & Claire from when they first opened. She attends full time and is happier then she has ever been at other settings. The children are welcomed into the family, they are clearly loved and looked after as if their own.
The records kept of my daughters progress are amazing and just shows how much time and attention is spent with the children.
The children are regularly taken out and from this become sociable and confident. All staff work brilliantly with the parents when issues with your child arise. They have been brilliant with toilet training, managing refusals to eat certain foods and identifying medical concerns early on.
When my daughter wakes up in the morning she beams when she realises she's going to see Sharon & Claire.
The other advantage is that I am able to use my early years funding here too.
I cannot recommend Busy Bees enough and wouldn't trust anyone else to look after my daughter!

Sharon and Claire have exceeded my expectations with providing truly outstanding childcare for my son, they go above and beyond providing excellent activates and lovely home cooked meals. My son looks forward to his day with the childminder; they give me total peace of mind. I cannot fault them in any way.
