About Me
FOUNDATION DEGREE IN LEARNING SUPPORT - STUDYING BA (HONS) INTEGRATED WORKING WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. I am a mother of two children and live at home in Halesowen with my husband, children and our dog Maddison (Cocker Spaniel). My daughter Olivia is currently my assistant. We like to go out for walks with our dog, we enjoy being outside in the garden or inside doing DIY. We are very family orientated and offer a friendly home from home environment. I have lots of both indoor and outside resources and like to have lots of creative crafts going on inside and learning through play. We also go outside and plant seeds etc, for children to take home.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since 2011 and have looked after children since that time. I also have experience of working within a school environment.
My Qualifications
I hold my Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Food Safety Level 2 Certificate, Child Protection Foundation Certificate and Child Protection Intermediate Certificate. I also hold my Level 3 Diploma for the Children an Young People's Workforce - Early Learning and Childcare Pathway (City and Guilds Qualification).
Foundation Degree in Learning Support and currently studying for a BA(Hons) in Integrated Working with Children and Families.
I can offer funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds
I have cared for children from the age of birth to 12.
I am always continuing my professional development and attend training courses regularly.
My Availability
I have availability during School time and also during School Holidays, I work from 7.00 a.m until 5.30 p.m. but I am flexible on time to suite your needs for childcare.
I can offer funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Nicola has looked after my son since he was 9 months old and my daughter almost 3 - we found Nicola after looking into a childminder as an alternative to nursery ( my daughter had previously been in nursery). I was a little worried about this change but as soon as I met Nicola I knew that she would be someone I would trust and any reservations I had about changing from a nursery setting to a childminding one were completely put at ease. My children love Nicola and her family and love going there . Nicola is kind, patient, reliable and I have always been completely happy with the care she provides. Planned activities , days out and a home from home environment - would highly recommend !

I feel so lucky to have found Nicola! She has looked after both of my children, my son was 3 and my daughter just 18 months old. Almost 3 years later and my daughter starts school in September and we are going to miss her so much! Nicola is a very caring, professional childminder. She always has planned activities and days out and I would highly recommend.

Nicola is a brilliant childminder, she has looked after my little boy for over a year since he was 1 years old. She is so caring, patient and kind. He absolutely loves going to hers and enjoys the wide range of activities every day. Couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

My little one has been looked after by Nicola for 18 months now. I couldn’t wish for a better childminder, she takes the children on days out and works closely with them to ensure they are getting the support they need. My little girl looks forward to going there and seems to be progressing really well.
