My Summary

Postnatal Doula

About Me

When friends around me started giving birth I got very interested about the begining of life, specially for the impact I could see. I thought that support could bring a huge difference to this transition and I started my training as a Doula. I also have understood in my own skin the difference it makes in having support in some stages in life and I enjoy offering a tailored support for families.

I am from Spain (Catalonia). In my free time I enjoy a cup of tea with friends, a walk in nature ( I love the coast path), swimming and dancing. I also volunteer at the Share Shed, library of things which is a fab project towards a more sustainable world.

Postnatal Support
The postnatal support I offered it may include emotional support to help build your confidence, encouraging you to trust your decisions. I would be delighted to take care of you; so that you can totally recover from the birth and feel stronger to take care of your new baby. Whatever your birth experience has been I will be there to listen to you and your needs and wishes.

Another part of my role may be to offer you practical support which may include breastfeeding or bottle feeding support. I am happy to look after your baby and/or older children while you have a shower or a bit of a rest. I aim to provide support to the partner too in a way that the whole family can thrive.

I am willing to support you regardless of your situation and life choices, as a family, as a single mother, LGBT,following a religion or with a particular belief system.

Although I am not a chef I am able to cook nourishing meals and also I am happy to do light house hold duties.

I am passionate about helping families to adjust to this transition moment in their lives. I will aim to leave you rested and confident.
