About Me

I am a nanny with over 33 years' experience. I am passionate about caring for babies and young children, and I believe in creating an environment where children can thrive and grow confidently. I would describe myself as outgoing, patient, passionate and dedicated. I have a good sense of humour and a positive outlook.

Forming strong connections with parents is a priority for me so that we can work as a team to provide the best care. Having taken on many sole charge responsibilities, I make it a point to share glimpses of our daily activities through photos, ensuring parents feel connected and involved in their child's experiences. I love to get out-and-about with the children to help grow their confidence and develop learning skills. I am also able to provide the children with nutritious homemade meals.

Throughout my career, I've worked in a variety of situations, including caring for a sick child at Great Ormond Street Hospital, spending time in day nurseries, and supporting children with autism. While my current role is in a nursery, I have found that my heart lies in the unique and rewarding experience of working directly with a family.

I take great pride in the fact that I have maintained lasting connections with all of the children and families I've worked with. It's heartwarming to witness the growth of the children I've cared for, with the oldest now a confident 37-year-old. Being a part of their journey and contributing to their development into young adults brings me immense joy.
