Bright Clouds Nursery has been at our site in Grove park since 2003 as a registered child-minder. Edith the proprietress and the manager is a highly- experienced childcare practitioner. She has over 30 years experience working with children of different ages. Edith worked for Southwark early years as a childcare practitioner for over 7 years, during this time she developed the idea to set up her own childcare business in 2003.
She excelled and blossomed in her role as a childcare provider on a daily basis. Children, parents and carers have been very comfortable and happy in her childcare setting.
Bright clouds provision started with 6 children and was later increased to 9 children by Ofsted. This was due to the outstanding care provided by the setting.
The child-minding setting was Ofsted graded "Outstanding in all areas in June 2011. At this point the childcare setting has been running for over 18 years. However, with the support of parents and carers Edith has been able to upgrade from a child-minding setting into a day nursery to accommodate 22 children ageing from 3 months to 5 years and was officially registered as a day nursery in March 2015 by Ofsted.
Bright clouds nursery has created a caring and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop through play
Opening hours
Monday to Friday, 8.00 to 6.00pm. An early drop-off or late pick-up can be pre-booked, please enquire at the nursery.
