About Me
I have been rated Good by Ofsted with outstanding qualities I am also a member of the Forest childcare association which means I commit to at least one weekly outing to a wild space.
My name is Angela Smith, I am a Ofsted Registered Childminder, I live in a semi detached bungalow in Sprowston, Norwich. I have two lovely children of my own. A Son aged 12 and a Daughter age 6.
I offer school Drop/Pick up from Sprowston Infant/Junior School and also Sprowston Pavillion Playgroup and Sprowston Nursery Play Group.
My Role as a Child minder is to provide a happy, safe environment and daily routine, incorporating all the things a child would ordinarily encounter with their parents, such as walks, trips to Park, visiting local toddler groups, stimulating play and craft activities.
I aim to develop the children in my care socially, physically, intellectually and emotionally by means of age and stage appropriate toys, activities and outings.
I like to offer the children as much fresh air as possible, we have a dedicated playroom with direct access to my enclosed garden space is available for the to children to play in freely, with ride on toys, climbing equipment, slide, water and sand play and space to run about
My Experience
I gained a great deal of experience working in a preschool on a voluntary basis, and I also have experience bringing up my own two children. I have now been.childminding for five years.
