Welcome to Jenna Riding Childminding.
Hello my name is Jenna Riding and I am a registered childminder, I work alongside my husband Andrew who is my assistant, I have been a childminder for 14 years now and enjoying every minute, I have always wanted to work with children and being able to do it from my own home is a fantastic
opportunity, I believe that being able to
give children one to one care is very
important to the child and their family.
I have a son who is 12 and an 8 year old daughter. We have a dog who is a Sproodle called Bruce. Bruce was brought into the family to help with my son’s anxiety and has certainly helped us all after going through a very tough time with family bereavement in 2022. He is such a wonderful dog and he is kept away from the children during working hours, his breed is hypoallergenic so he doesn’t shed his fur.
At our setting we have a large outdoor play area which we use for outdoor play. Indoors we have a playroom where we do a lot of activities with the children including puzzles, imaginative play, colouring, playdough, building blocks and many more.
we have toys to suit children of all ages and their different needs. our daily routine includes messy play, baking, trips to the park, walks in the woodland area behind our setting, toddler groups and indoor play centres.
we provide home cooked meals and healthy snacks for the children and can cater for children with specific dietary requirements/allergies.
In our last Ofsted inspection our grade was good with an outstanding in The contribution of the early years provision to the well-being of children.

My Experience
I have 13 years experience in caring for children aged between 0 and 10 years old, I have an assistant who is my husband Andrew and he has been working with me for 11 years. we are able to look after up to 12 children aged between 0 and 5.
My Qualifications
I have qualifications in first aid for babies and children, food hygiene, safeguarding children and a level 3 in childcare, learning and development.
my assistant has safeguarding training and first aid training.
My Availability
We currently have vacancies for full time or part time care for children aged between 0 and 3 we are also able to provide 15 and 30 hrs funded childcare for 2,3 and 4 year old children, providing that the parents are eligible for the funding.
we provide before after school/nusery care and I collect from local schools/nursery. Schools: St Peters RC school and Staghills Nursery School.
we provide term time care and school holdays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
my fee is a charge of £4.50 per hour.
I am open from 7 till 6 monday- friday and I am very flexible and can work alongside the hours that suit you.

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Staghills Nursery School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at St Peter's Roman Catholic Primary School, Newchurch
