About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I live with my husband and 3 daughters in a lovely, safe, quiet cul-de-sac in Frome. We live in a 3 bedded, non-smoking home with a lovely big garden for the children to play outside whenever they wish and lots of fun toys ready for them to have a go on!!
I have been graded GOOD from Ofsted.
I feel I will be able to provide parents with the best quality childcare which is flexible and affordable in a nurturing homely environment where they feel safe, secure, relaxed and are able to become themselves freely.
We live within walking distance to the town center, library, parks and some lovely nature walks. I am a Longleat annual pass holder so will also include fun days out to see the animals and attractions! I also go along to toddler groups which is great fun for all the children so they can play with their new friends as well as day trips to local farms and soft play.
Overall my aim is to give your child the best care I can just as I would my own children and provide them with their own special place to come and learn, have fun, make friends and feel part of us.
My Experience
My main experience is being a Mother to my 3 lovely daughters and ensuring they have the best possible childhood they can have!
I have also done lots of voluntary work at my daughters primary school over the last five years which has given me the passion to work with children.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Local Authority Approved Childminding course, my Paediatric first aid course and also an Introduction to child Protection course. I have also been a volunteer in my children's classrooms on and off over the years.
I have completed my Level 3 Diploma on Children and young peoples workforce.
I have been graded level 5 by the food standards agency.
I have completed numerous training courses over the last 10 years to further develop my knowledge, understanding and skills in working with children.
