My Summary
About Me
I live in Motspur Park with my husband and our twins who are 4 years old. I registered as a childminder in September 2011 after many years caring for friends children on a casual basis.
I find caring for children very rewarding and am able to give my full attention to my chosen career as my twins are now a little older.
I aim to provide a happy, safe, stimulating environment for the children in my care and to encourage them in all areas of development.
A typical week in my care consists of twice weekly visits to the local childminders group, trips to the library and park, walks to shops, visits to local pet shop.
Other activities include arts and crafts, cooking, play-doh, nursery rhyme and story-time, jigsaws, singing, indoors and garden free-play.
I have a wide range of educational toys, puzzles, books and outdoor play equipment. The children are well stimulated.
As a registered childminder I have attended a recognised childminder training course and a 12-hour paediatric first aid course, for which I hold current certificates.
I have also done courses, in Child Protection, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Birth to three Matters and Equal Opportunities, which I hope reflects my commitment to my chosen career. I am also currently finishing my NVQ3 in Childcare.
I am a member of Morton Michel and hold relevant insurances. I offer all children in my care encouragement, love and kindness; I find this helps children to be happy and confident in my setting.

I have full time places available Monday to Friday at 08:00 am to 18:00.
I currently do drop-offs and pickups at Sacred Heart Primary School, Burlington Road.
