About Me

Hi I'm Christine, an ofsted registered childminder in Willington.
Offering 30 hours free funded childcare for working parents.
Free funded play and learning sessions for eligible 2years.
Funded places for 3&4year olds.
I live with my husband Bobbie who is works as my assistant, we are both CRB checked, members of PACEY and Willington local childminding networks, together we provide childcare in a warm and homely environment.


As parents of adult children ourselves we fully understand your difficulty you face as parents leaving your children and go back into work. We empathise with your dilemma in finding reliable, affordable childcare and we will work closely with parents to maintain routines and ensuring continuity experiences for your child and I fully understand that it may take some children longer to settle than others. I therefore offer informal introductory visits, free of charge, prior to the commencement of a placement. I also offer flexibility in the first weeks when children are settling in to the new routine of childcare and invite parents to phone or drop in to check on their childs progress.

Children have access to outdoor play daily, as part of our normal routine. I provide healthy breakfast lunch and snacks and encourage the children to learn about our environment through involvement in growing their own food and caring for plants. All meals are included in my hourly, daily.

Providing play opportunities covering all areas of the Early years foundation stage ensuring learning and development building on and complimenting the work you are already doing with your child.

Children are provided with opportunities for structured play to encourage new interests and build on your childs interests, ensuring children learn through fun play activities.

Reflected in my recent Ofsted inspection gained a 'Good' overall judgement with outstanding for Behaviour and attitudes.

I understand you and your child have a strong bond and that it may take some time for them to settle in. I therefore offer informal introductory visits, free of charge, prior to the commencement of a placement. I also offer flexibility when settling children in and parents are welcome to phone or drop in to check on their child’s progress if you need reassurance.
