About Me
Hi, my name is Claire, I am Ofsted registered Childminder. I'm married to Alan who is my assistant with 2 children aged 27 and 23. We live in a 4- bedroom mid terrace house with a purpose built extension for the sole purpose of childminding with garden in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood in Islington close to schools, 10 minutes walk to Highbury and 15 minutes walk to Caledonian Rd stations. I've been childminding for 23 years, a member of PACEY and the local Childminding Network. I regularly attend and update all the required training that will enable me to improve my knowledge in looking after the children. I finished CACHE Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development in May 2011.

My Experience
I provide a fun, loving and safe environment and make sure children are always engaged with different activities everyday according to their age and abilities.
I follow the EYFS curriculum for every child and take them to different outings each day such as: stay and play, childminders groups, soft play, library, farm, museums, zoo, Story Centre at Stratford, different parks (weather permitted) and/or just a bus or train rides. I give them healthy and freshly cooked meals each day.
Parents are well informed with their child development verbally everyday and/or all means of communication everyday.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 and regularly updating other relevant training. I've been working continuously as a childminder since 2000.
My Availability
I work from 8:30 a.m. till 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday.
