About Me

Hello and thanks for taking the time to look at my profile.

I’m a three times rated Outstanding Registered Childminder with 28 years experience.

I live with my husband (we have 4 grown up children who now have their own homes) on St. John’s Estate area of Colchester. We have 1 small dog.

I care for the children from a comfortable and bright, fully equipped cabin in our garden.

All children can choose and have fun with an extensive range of regularly cleaned toys, books, crafts and games.

Free-flow play between the cabin and gardens is easily accessable for all children, all year round.

Weekly outings in local area- Toddler groups, woods, library and parks.

My Experience

I have completed many courses over the last 25 years of being a childminder. With having 4 children of my own, I understand some of the challenges a parent can face.

My Qualifications

Diploma in Home Based Childcare
Paediatric First Aid Level 3
Safeguarding Children
5* Health and Hygiene rated

I am up-to-date on all required training and regularly access any courses I feel are relevant to developing my knowledge, working hard to keep up with current thinking in childcare.

My Availability

At present I work from 7.45~18.00 but can adjust this to meet your individual needs.

I take/collect children from Friars Grove Primary school.

My Fees

Childminding from £5.70 per hour

This includes healthy snacks and toddler group fee’s.
