About Me
Hi, I am Michelle. I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I own and run Sticky Fingers Daycare in Guisborough.
I provide childcare for children aged 6 months and upwards.

My Experience
I love working with children and have spent many years working in different child centred environments with a wide range of children.
I spent a lot of time working on a 1 to 1 basis with children with special needs in residential respite. I then went on to set up and run a commercial holiday and out of school club providing care for children aged upto 13. Eventually I went on to study and work as a qualified primary teacher. I also have my own children.
The children and I go out everyday. I live very close to the woods and we enjoy a lot of time exploring them. We also visit local parks and the beach and other childminder groups and settings.
I attend local playgroups, the library and Sure Start drop in sessions.
At home we enjoy lots of crafty things such as painting and gluing. We also love to bake.
I value my relationship with parents and so work very closely with them and their child to ensure that I can give their child the best care I can.
My Qualifications
I am an OFSTED approved, fully insured, registered childminder and can offer full or part time care for children from birth upwards.
I hold a valid DBS certificate.
In addition to holding a BA hons degree and Qualified Teacher Status I have completed the Level Three Homecare Practitioner Course ran by the local authority. I hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and also a food hygiene certificate. I have attended the local authority training course on ‘Safeguarding Children.’
My Availability
I provide day care between the hours of 8a.m. and 5.30p.m. Monday to Friday. I am happy to discuss any individual needs you may have.
I also provide wrap around care before and after nursery and school, with drop offs and pick ups to Galley Hill Primary School and St.Paulinus RC Primary School.
I provide a professional and friendly service in a warm, clean and friendly home and am committed to providing the very best care for children of all ages.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
~ Full day £38
~ Before school £5.00 a session, this includes breakfast and school drop off.
~ Afterschool is £5.00 an hour, this includes school pick up and a snack.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Saint Paulinus Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Galley Hill Primary School
