About Me

I am an Ofsted registered childminder with over 21 years experience in caring for children. I am Ofsted Registered and am graded Good.
I offer home from home care in a relaxed, secure, fun and stimulating family orientated setting. I am within easy reach of playgroups, parks, woods, open countryside and farms and I provide a wide range of age appropriate toys in a dedicated playroom and have lots of resources including arts and crafts, books, ride on toys a playhouse in the garden with a mud kitchen which all the children love playing with in a secure garden.
I follow the EYFS and use children's play schemas to provide activities I know your child will enjoy.
I help run a local playgroup twice a week and go to a childminder run group every week. I am also part of a small network of childminders and we meet regularly to let the children get together and play and we
go out and do things around town and further field to give the children a wide range of activities and experiences.
I use Baby's Days software which enables you to have instant access to your child's development.
I do not do school drop offs or collection.
I am registered to accept Tax free payments.
I offer funded hours

My Experience
I have 21 years experience of caring for children. My own children are 18, 21 and 23 and first registered as a childminder in 2004 to 2010 before taking a brief pause before re registering in 2010 to present day.
My Qualifications
have all the necessary checks and qualifications to comply with ofsted regulations to enable me to be registered with them, training is ongoing and updated regularly.

Current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
The completion of my pre-registration (Introduction to Childcare Practise)
Hygiene certificate Level 2.
Level 2 Award in Food Safety
Certificate in Basic Awareness in Child Protection.

Jeannette has been a wonderful part of my boys childhood. She is attentive and caring. She listens to the boys and meets all their needs. Jeannette has been very flexible and was always relianble. She even sent me pictures of the fun that the boys were having whilst in her care. They loved their time with their 'Netty' and we will miss her alot. I 1000% recommend Jeannette if you are looking for a lovely, reliable and flexible childminder to care for your babies.
