About Me
I am a very caring and loving mother and have been a night nanny/nanny and childminder for many years so have a lot of experience working with newborns up to age 12 years.
I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa and come from a very loving caring family.
My career started when I was a lot younger when I did au pair in America for a lovely family with three young children. I loved looking after them and being apart of there family.
I then decided to move to London and started as a sole charge nanny for several years looking after children in central London.
Once we had our daughters I still wanted to carry on looking after children so I decided to become a childminder and look after children at my own house as well as look after my own daughters.
I love to let children learn through play so we have lots of fun doing role play, music, arts and crafts, play dough, Lego, puzzles, games and reading fun story books as well as many other fun things. We also go to playgrounds and parks where the children can run around and play and explore.
My hours are flexible.

I have excellent references from families who's children I have looked after.
I have a paediatric first aid certificate.
I have been CRB/DBS checked and my husband has also been checked.
I am a non - smoker.
I am a fully qualified Maternity Nurse helping mums getting babies into a good routine, feeding, bathing, sleep training

I have no words how to thank Lyn for being such a wonderful carer for my 3 year old daughter Anika. Her loving, caring, motherly nature has made me feel so comfortable, I can go to my work knowing that my baby is in safe hands. Her warmth has shown extremely positive improvement in Anika.
She makes sure kids are engaged with activities which are right for their age. She plans outdoor activities as well.
Anika is always excited to be at her place. Her two daughters are so loving and welcoming, Anika feels at home. Adding to that is her husband who is equally friendly. All in all a perfect environment for kids to grow up. I am sure Anika will grow up as a confident kid being with you.
I would highly recommend Lyn !!

Leaving my 6 month old baby girl for the first time was a daunting thought, but after meeting Lyn my mind was at ease.
She has a loving, caring, motherly nature and I felt comfortable going back to work knowing my baby was in good hands.
Seeing the smiles in the morning on my babies face when she saw Lyn was so reassuring.
I would highly recommend Lyn!
