About Me
Hi my name is Vicky, I have been childminding since 1987 and live in a detached house with a dedicated playroom and well equipped outside area.
My Experience
I have been working with babies and children for 30 years plus, 12 years as a Nursery Nurse in Schools and Nurseries and many years as a Childminder. In my recent Ofsted inspection I was rated outstanding in all area's. As a Childminder I believe babies and children thrive in a home setting with different aged children in more of a family structured environment, were each child is recognised as a individual and their needs can be met. While in my setting babies and children can access toys for different aspects of learning, as we follow the learning patterns set out by EYFS. I regularly keep up to date with any new courses. We have daily outing to playgroups were children can interact with other children in a large setting. We also visit local parks, farms and ball centres etc. ( i have a covid-19 policy in place)
My Qualifications
I am NNEB, First aid, Lead safeguarding qualified, DBS checked and fully insured and have covid-19 safe environment.
