About Me
Hi I'm Aimee. I am an ofsted registered childminder. I have been childminding now for 15 years. I am fully police checked and hold a current first aid certificate.
I have four children, two boys and and two girls, ages 20, 17, 15 and 7years . My eldest is currently at university in reading my youngest son goes to Gravesend Grammar. My eldest daughter goes to Mayfield Grammar and my youngest goes to St Johns Primary.
I absolutely love my job. I love being at home with my own children and helping parents with their busy working lifestyle.
My home is a fun energetic place and all the children enjoy each others company.
My most recent ofsted inspection was marked as one below "outstanding". I am able to cater for most child's needs and ensure they're happy and enjoy their time with me.
I have simple rules in my home, everyone respects each other, other people's things and my home.
I provide healthy cooked meals each evening and am able to cater for differing nutritional needs.
I like the children to feel at home, they are able to do as they please within reason, play in the garden, read a book, play games or with toys and watch films. I feel strongly that every child must feel as comfortable as possible and enjoy their time at my house.
My Experience
I have been working as an ofsted registered childminder for fifteen years.
Previously I have worked in schools, nurseries, special needs and family homes all whilst carrying out my BTEC. I also helped out in my children's school once a week and whenever else I am able or needed.
I work in a children’s home and am early support worker. I’m currently just doing after school and drops offs. My main days of childminding are Wednesdays and Fridays, I can be flexible up other days.

My Qualifications
BTEC National Diploma in early years.
Paediatric first aid
Certificate in safe guarding children
Degree in early childhood studies
Level 4 families and children practitioner
My Availability
I am very flexible with working times, pickups, school runs (St johns school only if times clash for drop offs and pickups) please call or email to discuss further, If I am able to help I will.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
School drop off £10 available from 7:30 am inc breakfast
School pickups and care until 6.00pm £20.00 including dinner)
During holidays we will often attend parks, attractions, play zones and the like, if an entry fee is applicable to an attraction then I would not provide this, a small packed lunch will be required for park visits, I will provide snacks and drinks also their evening meals as usual. Notice will always be given before any excursion.
Sorry, no weekend working.

Aimee is friendly, professional, flexible and very experienced working with children. I had just moved to Gravesend and my daughter had just started reception at St John’s school when she started going to Aimee before and after school. Aimee always took the time to let me know of events, parents evenings, non uniform days etc. Her help with settling my daughter into a new school was invaluable. Aimee cares about the children and you can see from her approach and interaction with the children that she enjoys what she does. My daughter always feels welcome and at home at Aimee’s, she loves the different activities they do, the food and the trips to different parks.
I highly recommend Aimee.

Aimee is a fantastic person and excellent childminder.My son loves the variety of things to do especially the back garden where there's loads to do including a small play house.He also enjoys the cooked food.
Aimee has a lovely child-friendly home and always a warm welcoming smile to both the kids and parents alike.
And treats all the kids as part of the family.
I also like how flexible she is especially if I'm running late from work .
This has been a very good experience and she's been childminding for us for just over 4 years . We highly recommend Aimee!
