Karen has been our nanny for almost 2 years and is now very much one of the family. Her primary responsibility is our youngest daughter (now nearly 4 years old), but she also looks after our eldest (almost 6 years old) after school and during the school holidays.
The fact that Karen has such significant background in nurseries gives her all the knowledge to be a great nanny - she is caring, considers developmental goals whilst planning activities and is first aid trained. She is also extremely reliable and has never let us down.
Both girls are excited when Karen arrives in the morning and during the holidays they look forward to going on adventures to parks, woods, soft plays, farms, museums... sometimes just the 3 of them and sometimes with other nannies in a big group.
Other than organising fun days out, Karen is also great at thinking up inventive craft activities every day for the girls to practice key development skills, decorate the playroom and keep them away from the TV. She also helps us keep the playroom and the girls' rooms tidy, prepares their lunches as necessary and is often called on to look after our cat!
We have no hesitation in recommending her!
