About Me
I have up and coming spaces, currently in the process of an additional staff member coming on board, once finalised by OFSTED there will be 2 additional spaces. This is predicted April 2025.
September 2025 there will be 4 spaces as they are moving on to nursery.
I am a dedicated mother of two children Ruby 18 and Charlie 16. My daughter attends Uxbridge College and my son attends Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy.
I offer a home from home environment accommodating children from birth upwards. I have many toys and display such items with the current development of each child. These are changed around pending on the interest of the children.
We also home a dog called Lola... (schnoodle) born 22/06/2023 and 2 fish currently....
I work with a colleague, Childminding assistant - Maryam Nasib whom joined "Penny's" on the 4th January 2023. I am also in the process of adding an additional assistant. Both assistants are in the process of becoming Registered childminders via OFSTED meaning the setting can stay open in my absence and we cover each others annual leave / sickness making the service more open and accommodating for parents. We will all work from my setting and i will always stay the lead Registered Childminder.
Maryam has undergone the mandatory training to work as an assistant, gained a clear CRB, approval from OFSTED and is ready to undertake the childcare world with enthusiasm. She has experience of raising her own children and is eager to support others in line with 'Development matters' and OFSTED regulations, Penny's policies and procedures. Maryam and myself will be working together from 1 setting. I am the sole Registered Childminder.
There are lots of activities both in my home and in the local area.. which are both fun and dirty..... (water play, mud play, painting, hand printing, bike washing, bike riding, scooter riding, park play, play dough, gluing and sticking, cutting, drawing, reading, picnic's, sandwich making, cake making, camping, football....to name a few....) Please do not let your children attend my setting in good clothes. These will get stained with fun and love.
We attend a church group on Monday's, there are not so many outings as such as i also need to feel the children i have are manageable on an outing with just me and Maryam. We have a great enriched garden which we access daily. Children also attend school pick ups and drop off's if possible....eg not sleeping, weather permitting or willingness to.
We mix with lots of other children and sharing lots of experiences. My best feedback is the children themselves and they sometimes don't want to go home :) Feedback is also available upon request from previous/current parents.
I use messaging to share instant photos and communicate with parents or extended family. This allows me to show you snippets of your child's day whilst they are with me throughout the day and vice versa.

My DS has been with Penny for over 3 years now and I can honestly say we’ve had no issues whatsoever; she is flexible, friendly and accommodating. They have a good relationship and my DS absolutely loves Lola, the new dog. I recommend Penny to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional and reliable childminder.

Penny
Penny is an absolute life saver! She is absolutely amazing she really is, my son has grown so much since being with Penny his gone from being attached to my hip to waving goodbye at the driveway. Penny always up dates us all through the day when having my son, I was so worried for leaving his for the first time but I love sending him to ‘ Nanna Penny’ as he calls her. The house is set up amazing its a place where the kids can play and learn Xxx

My daughter was with Penny only 2 months, but even within this short period of time she's got so in love with Penny and her cozy home. As Penny says in her description about herself, kids really don't want to leave her house when parents come to collect them. My daughter still remembers her and very often I can hear "I want Penny!.." 😊 That is definitely a good sign of Penny's qualification!

Penny's house is like our second Home. lt is a place where children learn how to communicate with other children of different ages, abilities, cultures and religions. My daughter enjoys spending time painting, artwork or just rest. As a childminder, l had seen her solving difficult situations with her broad knowledge and intelligence. She is the best backup any working parent would want.

I have been very happy with Penny’s childcare, she has looked after my children for almost 2 years as her own and has always gone the extra mile to make them happy.
She is honest and trustworthy, you can definitely rely on Penny and my children absolutely love her. In fact, one several occasions where she was not minding them they asked for her and always had so much fun at her place.
She provides comprehensive activities for all types of ages( art and crafts, creative activities, playing outdoors, toys and several other activities), she is lovely but firm and instils discipline at all times, children know their boundaries !
Penny is also very respectful and aware of other faiths and religions and ensures that children come together to celebrate these.
She has also been extremely flexible with our childcare because of my husband’s working hours and we thank her for this.
I would recommend Penny to anyone who wishes to take up her services as she is an excellent childminder and it is obvious that she loves her job and therefore excels at it! I am currently not working so minding my own children, however when I go back to work Penny will be the first one I contact for childcare !

My son was with Penny for 6 months before we moved out of the area. He loved to be at Penny's place.
Penny looked after him very well. My son would ask to go to Penny's house even on weekends.

Penny has been looking after my son, Robbie (almost 2) for only a few months now, but we already feel like we’ve known her forever!
Penny is very professional, organised, happy and caring and I know my boy absolutely loves his time there and he’s made lots of friends in the process, including her two children, whom he adores.
She is constantly creating new facilities in and around her home, with lots of opportunity for indoor and outdoor play, there is so much for the children to do. She is also keeping me posted on Robbie’s development and the main daily events, which I find extremely useful.
Penny’s love for children is obvious and child minding is so much more than a job to her, she’s truly dedicated. I know Robbie is happy and settled there and it’s so important to us as parents that we know he is in good hands with someone we can trust.
I am beyond happy with the level of care that Penny is providing and the fun, happy and secure environment of her home will definitely contribute to Robbie turning up to be a confident and amazing little person. As a mum, leaving your child in someone else’s care is so difficult, but Penny has made this process very easy. I trust her completely as I know she will always do what’s in my son’s best interest and I believe there’s no price that can be put on this.
I would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a great childminder, as to me she is one in a billion. Yes, billion! :)

Penny is amazing with my son Leyton. Every Friday he makes it hard to leave because he has had such a great day and he always asks to go to penny's house even on days off.
Penny is fantastic, such an easy person to get on with and sends daily updates with pictures of how your child is doing and any development areas she is working on for the child's progress in learning. I feel totally safe with him being there and look forward to my next picture update.
