The best experience we could have asked for

Shalena has been with us as a nanny from when our 3yo daughter was 9 months old. Our little girl is now going to pre-school in September and Shalena will be sorely missed from our everyday lives but we look forward to continuing a relationship with her.
We wanted someone nice, kind and empathetic to look after our daughter and Shalena is just that and more. I cannot praise her enough.
Shalena is extremely experienced yet goes at your pace and will always try to help in any way she can. I was very nervous about leaving my daughter in the first few months and Shalena was very patient with me, and also worked around any breastfeeding needs!
Our daughter and Shalena have an incredible bond and we have a lot of laughs! Shalena exudes a quiet confidence which has helped our daughter’s confidence to grow and Shalena has helped our girl develop into the happy chatty person she is today.
Shalena is a great cook and prepares lovely lunches and dinners for our girl, and she fills their days with fun and adventures. She is also sensitive to when our daughter needs a bit of quiet time.
We were told by Shalena’s previous families that we would be lucky to have her, and we absolutely were.

Capable, fun and experienced

Shalena is a hugely capable and experienced nanny. She looked after my baby twins from 3 months old until they went to nursery at 2 years of age. Not only did she do this effortlessly, teaching us how to handle twins along the way, she also looked after my very active 5 year old boy - managing school pick ups and play dates as well.

Shalena has an endless amount of energy, can easily handle 3 children, is reliable, punctual, fun, whilst also being firm but fair. Shalena will love and care for your children with huge diligence. I have never worried about my children whilst in her care.

She goes to huge effort to make sure you know what's happening at home with communication, photos and regular chats. If a child cries when you walk out the door a comforting text soon follows of them laughing and dancing so you know they are safe.

Shalena places great importance on play dates and making sure that children are socially active. In short you couldn't hope for a better nanny. She's one of the best.

Wonderful nanny/babysitter

Shalena has been looking after my children as a part-time nanny and babysitter for the past five years - from when my children were aged two and a just a newborn. She engages with the children beautifully; she is calm, fun and nurturing. Shalena has a gentle authority and is able to set/maintain boundaries with children and they respond well to this. She is organised, reliable and trustworthy. My son has special educational needs and Shalena has been able to understand him and get the best out of him in an exceptional way. We always feel comfortable having her in own home. I absolutely recommend her - she is wonderful!

Great and enthusiastic nanny

We are a french family in London, with a 2 years old boy, but no close family here to take care of him...
We were lucky enough to find Shalena when our son was very young, for ad hoc nannying and babysitting, and we are glad we did, as she is amazing with kids. She talks to them a lot, sings to them, she is patient, knows how to react, and brings them to many activities we didn't even know of before her ! And she always keeps in touch and sends pictures or videos to let you know how things are going.
Shalena is a lively, enthusiastic, and trustworthy nanny, and we will miss her when we're gone.

Shalena is an Amazing nanny!

Shalena looked after my twin boys from the age of 14 months till they were 4. She is a rare find! I trusted her completely with the care of my twins. The children loved her and still talk about her and miss her despite the fact that it’s almost 2years since she was there nanny. She is amazing at organising schedules and outing for the children. Her help with potty training was invaluable... I can only highly recommend her- she is an amazing!
