Julie has been so welcoming and opened up her home and arms to our son who was a little anxious to be away from me for the first time.
Julie sends regular updates throughout the day my son attends and pictures are included which is really lovely to see.
My son loves going to ‘Julie’s house’ and although he’s only been attending for a matter of weeks, he has really warmed to Julie and gets so excited when she’s mentioned. We love the fact Julie spends so much time outside and allows the kids the explore and use their imaginations. Our son is very outdoorsy so he suits this setting well. Julie’s very flexible, approachable and organised.
My son is a very confident little boy and it’s really nice to see him warming to others and his surroundings.
My son attends one day a week and we can’t wait for some more availability to come up so he can spend more time with a Julie and his friends.

Where to start....we were worried about who would help us with our boy, as he's such a bubbly and lively character, not to mention our pride and joy.
We've seen a few childcare settings and instantly knew they weren't good enough for our own personal standards. However, we met Julie one evening and as soon as she opened the door, we felt safe and could feel the love, warmth and care of a mother ooze out of her home straight away.
Over the past year, our son's development has been amazing, and Julie is a big part of this. She has taken the time to learn how to get the best out of our crazy little man. If we have any worries Julie is easy to speak to and is always understanding and keeps us updated with how our little man is. We have also found it incredibly helpful and reassuring that if we're teaching our son something (putting shoes on etc), Julie will help maintain this too.
The time, effort and focus she puts into each child is amazing. The varied enrichment activities Julie does with the children has helped our son's development and confidence. We receive daily pictures of the activities, trips out and even videos at story time.
We feel completely confident when our son is in Julie's care and think ourselves to be lucky to have found her - picking Julie as our childminder is truly one of the best things we have done.

Julie is an amazing childminder. The whole process from start to finish has been a fabulous experience for me as well as the boys. She has been Very professional, extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the whole time my two boys have been there. I have a 1 year old that’s quite clingy and twisty and she dealt with it superbly. My other son is 4 and he has loved going every time. She does really fun things with them (park, beamish, woods, building dens, picnics…) all things kids love and maybe with working parents they don’t get a chance to experience as often as we would like.
Her home is gorgeous, a beautiful setting for kids, always immaculately clean and smells lush. My children were made to feel like one of the family and instantly were at ease with Julie and her family. She is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk too if you need advice about kids. It’s with a heavy heart that we have had to end the time the boys spent with her and our rely due to starting school or I would have definitely stayed out. I would definitely recommend her 1000 %.

Julie put me at ease the minute i visited. I knew straight away that i could trust my son with her. Julie is calm, caring, loving and my son absolutely loved going there!! He was always smiling and happy to see her. He enjoyed a wide range of outings/activities and Julie would keep up updated on his adventures each day! I would highly recommended Julie, and will certainly be using her again in the future when i return to work!!!

We were so happy with Julie as a childminder, was so sad when our son stopped going. Julie gave him such a breadth of experiences and it was so clear how happy he was to be left. Julie made our first time leaving our baby so much easier and we would definitely get back in touch in the future. Highly recommended xx

Julie has been looking after our son and daughter since September 2013, when I returned to full time work. They both absolutely love going to "My Julie's " as they say.
It was difficult to leave my son and daughter and going back to work full time, but Julie made this easier. She has been there for my daughters first day at nursery school and my sons move to a new school. She has always been very supportive and nothing at all is too much trouble for her.
She provides excellent activities for both our son and daughter . Activities range from swimming, soft play, trips to the park, singing club and an abundance of craft activities, just to name a few. Julie always has time to talk to the children and find out what they have been doing that day .
My husband and I are extremely happy with Julie and would highly recommend her! It is lovely to take our children to someone who they think the world of and adore spending time with .

Julie has been looking after our son since he started school in Lanchester last September, and from the very beginning, he has loved being in her care. We couldn't have chosen a better environment for his after-school care.
Come rain or shine, there is always plenty to play with at Julie's, and he really enjoys the trips to the park on warmer days too. Julie is always very good at giving each of the children individual attention, and he sees her as a good friend. She is also excellent at observing his personality and has lots of good ideas for new activities that will suit him. Needless to say, Julie's house has quickly became like a second home and he loves being there.
Being with other children has also helped him to become confident around children of all ages, despite currently being one of the youngest in the group. He particularly looks up to Julie's older children and thinks they are brilliant. Being around Corey also cured his deep-seated fear of dogs within his first week (for which we are very grateful!).
Julie has always been very helpful in making arrangements to accommodate him on occasional extra days when I have been away with work, sometimes at relatively short notice. I am hugely grateful for this flexibility. Although it doesn't happen often, there is nothing more settling than to receive a text message telling you that all is well and that your son has been safely picked up, when you're 8 hours behind in San Francisco!
Thank you Julie for looking after our son so beautifully. We are very happy with our childcare choice and can highly recommend. :-)

Julie came highly recommended to us and we have been delighted with how happy my children are in her care. Both of my children are well cared for and have lots of fun in and outside her home. My kids are like chalk and cheese but Julie has that ability to deal with their very different personalities in a positive and encouraging way, building their confidence and independence. They both settled very quickly with Julie and I'm just so happy that I'm leaving my precious children in great hands. Pick up times can be a struggle as my daughter never wants to leave Julie and her family! Just as Julie came highly recommended to us, I would happily recommend Julie to anyone looking for childcare in the area. She's not just our childminder, I feel her whole family have become our good friends.

Julie is fantastic at her job and she goes over and beyond the call of duty! She is extremely approachable, professional caring, and friendly amongst others things! She understands children and their needs, and she puts the needs of the child first! She has excellent knowledge of the different areas of leaning and development and she linked this holistically when working alongside our little girl. She made our little girl feel part of her family and loved and would send us up-dates during the course of the day, including pictures! when your a working parent this is a wonderful thing to recieve and extremely comforting they are happy and in very good care. Our little girl adored Julie and we couldn't have asked for a better child minder, we have used others before, but by far Julie stood out! She even compiled a book to present to us at the end of her time with her, something we will treasure for ever! I cant recommend Julie enough she is very natural around the children and above all our little girl was safe with Julie and very well cared for. she is extremely competent in her job! We would use Julie every time to look after our children!
