Over the last year Gwen has been our childminder for 2 of our girls. From day 1 both girls settled straight away and felt at home in her care. I see Gwen as an extended part of my family. The girls love spending time with her and the other children in her care. I love the variety or activities Gwen plans for the children. These are clearly planned and have built in skills and experiences for the children to explore, create, and learn through play. They are often linked to themes throughout the year. Gwen’s nurturing approach is what I love about her care. I know my children are safe, happy and thriving.

Gwen has been a fantastic childminder for my daughter for over a year. She absolutely adores going to Gwen’s house and all of the things that Gwen does with her. My daughter has learned lots with the help of Gwen, every week she is developing and learning something new. I couldn’t recommend Gwen enough, my baby will be attending when I go back to work next year and I am filled with such confidence knowing she will be going to someone so caring and loving toward her children. Gwen is very flexible and accommodating, something no nursery could be. I have watched my daughter thrive in the last year and I am excited to see my other daughter do the same under Gwen’s care.

We done a lot of research when looking for a childminder for our daughter and instantly knew Gwen was the one when we met her. Our daughter has now been with Gwen for over 2 years and she is absolutely thriving. She is nurtured, loved and treated like part of the family when she is with Gwen and our girl has made some amazing friends during her time there. The level of care she receives is second to none and the learning and development opportunities Gwen provides are amazing. We are forever grateful for the love and support Gwen shows not just our daughter but our family. Her communication is second to none, I love getting my daily updates on all of the days adventures. I can’t recommend Gwen enough as a childminder and I hope she plays a part in our daughters life for many years to come.

Gwen is such a great childminder for my kids. I needed a childminder for over the summer holiday period & Gwen was recommended to me by a friend & I have not looked back. This is now the 2nd year that my kids have been with Gwen & they absolutely love her, she is a very friendly, caring, accommodative person who really has the best interest for the kids that she takes care of. My kids are taken out on trips everyday, away doing fun activities come rain or shine. My kids love the trips & I am kept up to date with how things are going throughout the day, with lots of great pictures of what they have been up to on that day. My kids always come home with a smile on their faces, which says it all. I cannot fault Gwen at all with the work, care & attention that she puts into looking after my kids & the peace of mind that this gives me handing them over every morning on my way to work. Thank you Gwen, Amazing!

I have 2 young daughters. Gwen looked after my girls before and after school. Gwen’s home is beautiful, clean, safe, and well equipped for looking after and keeping children entertained whilst teaching them. With a playroom and garden play area there is always plenty of activities to keep the little ones busy. I required a childminder after a life event which changed my circumstances overnight. This was a turbulent time for my daughters and Gwen was approachable, accommodating, and completely understanding of my girls needs. She formed a lovely relationship with my girls and I felt absolutely at ease leaving them with Gwen. I would recommend Gwen to anyone in the area looking for a childminder, she becomes part of your family and I can’t praise her highly enough.

We did a lot of research and met with many of the local (Inverkip and Wemyss Bay) childminders earlier last year and for us Gwen stood out a mile. As well as having great experience, skills and qualifications- what makes her stand out is her warmth of heart. She puts her heart and soul into her work with the kids and you can see they love her. My toddler is always full of giggles on arriving at Gwen's door which says it all. Also a great cook and housekeeper, my toddler is served home cooked meals each day and the house is spotlessly clean. A lot of thought and knowledge has been put into the childrens' itinerary of activities and they're taken out on trips, do crafts, messy play, baking and my toddler's come on leaps and bounds through her time at Gwen's. Especially with lockdown Gwen's service has been essential for my baby's development and socialisation. Highly recommended.

Chloe the pleasure is all mine. Looking after your daughter and helping her through all her development milestones is an absolute joy. She is coming on leaps and bounds and developing her own wee personality. She is really coming into her own and im looking forward to watching and helping her grow.
Gwen is a brilliant childminder who has a genuine affection for children. Her patience is unlimited, her kindness beyond reproach and she is as flexible as I have needed.
Gwen gives me insight into all the various activities my daughter has done each time she goes. She tells me about the outdoor adventures, the playtime games, the meals she has eaten and the amount of time she has slept. Not just that but she goes to so much effort to cook beautiful, healthy homemade meals for all the children which they relish.
Gwen’s house is always clean and tidy but there is also an abundance of toys in her playroom for the children to let their imaginations run wild. It is such a warm, friendly environment and I understand why my daughter loves going there so much. I rarely leave any reviews but I have today as I couldn’t have hoped to have a more sweet and professional childminder. She goes above and beyond any nursery my older children used to attend. Unfortunately I am moving out of the local area but if I could take Gwen with me I wouldn’t hesitate for a second.

Gwen looks after my 18 month old son Charlie full time. I have been extremely happy with the level of care my boy has received. Gwen’s home is always welcoming, clean, and well organised. Charlie loves to play with all the toys in the playroom and with the other children in her care. She provides a wide range of fun activities including plenty of outdoor activities. I know Charlie has recently loved baking cakes with Gwen and going on walks. On several occasions Charlie has brought home small gifts for our family including crafts he has made and valentine day cards.
Gwen provides lovely home cooked lunchs and healthy snacks that my son throughly enjoys. Gwen let’s me know what Charlie has done each day, from this I have a complete picture of his whole day including what he has eaten, how long he has slept and all his activities. This helps me to feel involved in his care, and I know he is enjoying himself and in good hands.
I am thoroughly impressed with the care Charlie receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive happy environment is helping him develop into a confident and self assured little boy. I have no hesitation in recommending Gwen to any family seeking a childminder.
