About Us

Bratton Primary School is situated in the centre of Bratton Village, a thriving and closely-knit community nestled below the scarp slopes of Salisbury Plain. The majority of our pupils are drawn from Bratton and the surrounding area including Edington, Steeple Ashton, West Ashton, and Westbury.

The education children receive here with us will enable all children to establish themselves as confident, engaged learners. We are focused on ensuring that all our children are challenged to progress in their learning and that they should all be aware of the endless possibilities they have to grow and develop, confident to embrace whatever challenge comes their way. We recognise that pupils learn best when they are happy and in an atmosphere which is; stimulating and challenging, supportive and encouraging, enthusiastic and enjoyable.

Our Childcare Provision

We are committed to following the National Curriculum, but we also ensure that each child develops a deep awareness of the world around them and that they develop respect for others. Children are given every opportunity to contribute through a wide range of activities such as school trips, music events and class assemblies. Bratton School believes that all children are special, and that some children have particular needs.

Various activities take place out of school hours, including football, netball, tag rugby, hockey club, singing and dance clubs as well as gardening.

We also offer a provision for Before and After School Care.

My children love the school

I have a 6year old son and an 8 year daughter who have both attended the school since reception. They both very much love the school and the teachers. I would recommend this school.
