Nicci (Little Stars) cared for my daughter for a year. She had the best time. Lots of themed activities weekly/monthly. My daughter loved going to little stars with lots of learning opportunities and plenty of laughter and love.
We were sad when my daughter had to leave due to starting school. When she left we got given a cute photo book of her time with Nicci which a beautiful touch something we still look through now.
Nicci is very organised and so thoughtful…it’s all about the children and the families. Daily communication is with updates.
The setting is perfect with 2 separate spaces with so many resources.
I Highly recommend Little Stars.

Nicci currently minds our baby daughter after previously minding our son from the age of 1year to school age. She really does go above and beyond and is the next best thing to being at home yourself with your children! We love the Little Stars setting which provides a wide range of learning opportunities in a home environment and Nicci’s communication through the Baby Days app is excellent and very detailed. Most importantly to us; our children have both settled well and thrived in the environment. My son still looks through his photo books (Christmas presents from Nicci) and talks fondly of his time at Little Stars.

Nicci had my daughter for about 2 and a half years. Being a pandemic baby and not having little contact with anyone outside our home, she settled with Nicci within weeks.
Nicci was so welcoming and provided an immediate calming and beautiful learning environment for my daughter.
The change and range in activities and topics were fantastic. We loved seeing all the different activities through baby day. Nicci updated it everyday with pictures and notes- this was amazing and we loved seeing it all!
My daughter absolutely enjoyed everyday and talks all the time about Nicci and all her friends she has made.
Would highly recommend Nicci.

Nicci had my son 4 days a week for roughly 4 years & I’m so lucky she now has my daughter who is 5 months.
Nicci goes above & beyond for the children & even the parents. There is no one I trust more to look after my children. Her setting is wonderful inside & outside. Her family are lovely including the dog & cat. The activities she does with the children is fantastic as well as running the local tots group! Nicci always keeps me updated too, sending pictures and giving me updates during the day which I appreciate so much. She uses the baby days all which is brilliant. I would highly recommend Nicci.

Nicci was such a lucky find for myself and my kids, not only was she wonderful with them, she was so friendly to me as I had just moved into the area. Both my children were in her setting and they absolutely loved it there. My son was really bad at being left and she was always calm when both of our lips were trembling and I always got an update with a lovely smile within 5 mins to reassure me that he was happy. They did such brilliant activities and I couldn't believe all the things she achieved with them, going to the ice cream parlour for one and a toddler group that she also ran! I also got written updates and lovely pics. I would highly recommend her!

Nicci has looked after both my daughters when they were aged between 18 month and 4 years.
They loved their time with her! She provides excellent care, is understanding, positive and fun.
I felt very reassured they were in good hands.
I cannot recommend Nicci highly enough.

Nicci is quite simply wonderful. She looked after both of my children and they absolutely adored her. The thought, love and care Nicci takes to ensure the children have a great time and have exposure to a wide range of experiences is exemplary. Her communication was on point and we always felt the children were safe and very well cared for.

My daughter attended Nicci’s childcare setting 4 days a week for 1 year, from the age of 1 to 2 years old.
All I can say is, Nicci is an outstanding childminder! From our very first meeting, I was instantly at ease and trusted Nicci right away. Nicci has created a gorgeous setting for her minded children that allows children to explore, learn and have fun. She’s a consummate professional, from continuing her own learning (eg keeping up to date with the latest EYFS requirements) to planning activities (different all the time!) and updating parents daily with a personalised written summary of the child’s day. On top of all that, she truly cares about the children and provides such a lovely and personal home-from-home environment. My daughter thrived when in Nicci’s care.
Due to a change in our circumstances, our daughter could no longer attend Nicci’s and it was a really difficult adjustment for all of us (especially me!).
I can’t thank Nicci enough for all she did. I genuinely feel I’ll never find anyone like her again!!

Updated Review! Our twin boys are starting reception the week after next so very sadly we have had to say goodbye to Nicci and her fabulous childcare setting. It has been entirely our pleasure sending the boys to Nicci and she is like family to us. We have moved villages so unfortunately Nicci cannot provide the wraparound care either which is a shame as given the choice, I would not look elsewhere. The boys have loved every second of the last four years at Nicci's. We visited their new classes today and the teachers were very impressed with their numeracy skills, their knowledge of loose parts and other activities, even their scissor skills! One of my son's said to me 'look Mummy I have cut it in half'. The teachers looked at one another and said 'ooh tick!'. The teachers were very appreciative of all the development paperwork Nicci provided and I know Nicci given them the confidence and skills they need to start reception in the best possible position. I said very proudly to them, everything they know and can do is full credit to Nicci. As a full time working mummy, what else could I ask for?!

I chose to send both my children to Nicci because I loved the family feel that her setting gives. Nicci is so good with children and has a special ability to form relationships with them that allow them to achieve their very best. There are always exciting activities for them to do which change each week. Nicci is exceptionally well organised and provides feedback after every session which is specifically tailored to each child. My children always looked forward to going to Nicci which made it so much easier as a working mum. When it came time for them to transition to school they had both developed the independent skills they needed and were ready to learn. I can’t recommend Nicci highly enough!!
