Hi my name is Louise (lou lou) I am 45 years old and I live in the Havant area, near Staunton country park.
I am an experienced and highly qualified childminder with over 28 years of experience in all aspects of childcare this also includes being a mum myself!!
I live with my husband lee and we have two lovely children Dylan age 21 and Mia age 17 they both totally love me being a childminder and the fab things we do they are brillant with the little ones and my childminding children adore them.
My Daughter Mia has lots of experience with babies/early years age children and is also a big part of Lou Lou's Childcare joining in and having fun.
Mia can offer evening babysitting for any of my familes ( Mi Mi's Babysitting services)
we also have a lovely Poochon puppy who is currently 5 years old called Missy, she is amazing with the children , totally loved by the children in the setting as well as the parents.
She's Hypoallergenic so perfect for any Allergies.
I love spending time with my family and friends, and love being creative and making things ,walks with Missy.
I decided to become a childminder after having my own first child and wanted to work from home environment.
I have always worked with children, I new after having my first child that being a childminder was the perfect career for me and my family.
Both my children have now left school and are at uni/ working towards an apprenticeship and im still childminding and have not looked back since 2004 when Lou Lou's Childcare was first established.
I think it has been very good for them to interact with other children of all ages and they love what i do just as much as me , it's the perfect career for me and my family.
Im doing a job that i love and that is so rewarding!!
I provide high quality childcare in a safe,happy , fun and secure home environment.
I have outstanding equipment in all areas of learning for the children to use , Lovely outside area set up for the children to explore and play ,fab play areas with a home from home feel, I have a summer house fully equipped for all ages,my setting has a lovely free flow to the outside space which the children really like.
The children have access to self care equipment setting out their own plates and cutlery ,cups to pour their drinks etc
The children also have access to the craft area in the summer house giving them the chance to be creative when ever they wish choosing from all the different resources available.
We love to go out exploring the environment and enjoying fun filled days, farm , country parks, parks,toddler groups, beaches, woods, bus trips so much more.
I also run a Toddler group in lovedean which the children love to attend having fun and making lots of new friends.
At Lou Lou's Childcare we have so much fun with craft, creating and making, messy play, natural play.
The children really enjoy the mud kitchen,sand, water play.
Im a very easy going, fun loving, supportive, creative person!!!
My Experience
I left college at 18 years of age and became a nanny caring for children of all ages.
I continued in this work for approximately four years and then went on to become a Nursery Nurse working for a local Day Nursery,during this time i became Head Nursery Nurse,helping to run the nursery and all the daily requirements involved,along with supervising my own toddler room,and managing three other members of staff.
I feel i have lots of experience in both the home and nursery enviroments
My Qualifications
I am registered,and I am an accredited network childminder,providing "Early Years Education".offering 2 3/4 funding.
Ofsted inspection Sep 2019 Outstanding in all areas.
Ofsted inspectionin Jan-16 graded Good in all areas.
Ofsted inspection in Jan -09 graded outstanding in all 14 areas !!

My Fees

I really struggled with the thought of someone else looking after my baby when I went back to work but as soon as I met Lou, I knew she was the one to do it! Her setting is amazing and so well equipped to keep the little ones entertained, discovering and learning every day, coupled with the regular trips out, they get a full range of different activities and experiences every day!
Lou made the transition of leaving my little girl and going back to work so easy with regular photo updates throughout the day so I could see how much fun she is having. In the 4 months she has so far been with Lou, she has really flourished and the change in her play and general understanding is amazing.
I would recommend Lou to anyone and everyone and the support she has so far offered both my little one and myself has been invaluable. She goes above and beyond at every given opportunity, answering my anxious texts at all times of the day and helping to work with us as a family to ensure my little one hits all her milestones.
It's like having a friend look after her and it's so lovely! Thank you for being so amazing Lou! ❤

What can I say , I knew within seconds of visiting Lou , talking with her and seeing the setting we had landed on our feet and the more time my daughter was with with Lou the more lucky we felt. My daughter was always so happy to go to lou lou and always had so many lovely experiences both in the setting and out and about and very Impressive craft would be a regular occurrence ;-)
I really can't reccomend this lovely lady enough. She puts so much into the care she provides and her passion just shines through. Lou provides a safe , very stimulating and caring environment and somewhere your child can grow and have lots and lots of fun along the way.

Lou Lou has looked after my baby since he was 9 months old, (now he is 3) I was very nervous and worried about leaving him as he had been very poorly since birth, on my first visit to Lou Lou I found her very welcoming, friendly and open to discuss any concerns I may have, I was shown around the setting which I was amazed by, it was very clean, and well laid out.
Before I left Lou’s house after the first meeting I had made my decision that is where I wanted my baby to go, and to this day he is still there, he absolutely loves Lou, her children and her dog, missy.
I cannot praise Lou enough for all her help and support with my little boy as he has a lot of health issues and she has always supported me and him so much, I felt Lou has cared for him as she would 1 of her own and she has always made me feel at ease, and reassured me throughout the day, with updates on how he is doing.
I would recommend Lou to anyone, she is loving, kind, caring and most of all amazing with the children, best decision I ever made sending my boy there.

My daughter has been with Louise for around 6 months now and we could not be happier with the care she has been given.
Louise is always so professional and friendly and goes above and beyond for her parents and children. She listens to everything I have to tell her and is always so very positive and happy to give advice when I ask for it- I really enjoy our chats! Her home is beautiful and always clean and tidy. The outside space is child friendly and my daughter loves playing in the garden.
My daughter really enjoys going there and I am happy knowing that she is in the safest of hands; she's quite a handful especially when out and about but I can put my trust in Louise to keep her safe and happy. She is always clean, fed and happy when she comes home and I am so pleased with the care she has been given!

Tiána absolutely adores Loulou and is always excited and cheers to go to her each week whilst mummy goes to work.
Lou has a great level of experience and understanding with the children having had her own and working in the field from such a young age.
Whilst tiána attends she gets to experience such a vast amount of different activities both in the setting and out and about whilst interacting with her peers of different ages. Tiána has also found the confidence to take part in activities that she would never do with me with the encouragement and support of Lou.
Lou offers a good variety of snacks and meals to Tiána being a child with hollow legs and also has now got her drinking water (something she would never do with me).
I couldn't ask for a better lady to look after my daughter knowing that she understands and is in tune with her needs and the full focus is on the children that attend each day.
