About Me
Hi My name is Nikki, and I am an Ofsted registered childminder, latest grading from Ofsted Feb 2020 Outstanding in all areas.

I am fully Ofsted registered and myself and my family are all DBS checked. I hold a level 3 NVQ in childcare and education and every year access training to further enhance my knowledge.
My husband is my registered assistant and a fully qualified chef, we believe in a healthy start for young children so all meals and snacks are balanced and nutritional and also included In our fees.
Together we offer a great, fun and caring childcare setting. We have 2 grown up children of our own and Obi the Collie dog and Oliver the cat. I have been a childminder since my eldest was a baby gaining many qualifications and experiences in childcare looking after newborns, many toddlers and twins.
We are lucky to live near the woodlands and the park, and like to feed the birds, squirrels and ducks. We also visit our local library. We have a great selection of toys and resources and a lovely long back garden to enjoy with a purpose built safe playground area.
To work with preschool children has always been an ambition of mine and I thoroughly enjoy my work. I am committed to providing high professional childcare with the benefits of being homebased for young children.

My Experience
I have been a registered Childminder since 2001 so very experienced caring for children and young babies. I am also a mum of 2 myself although they are older now. I have always babysat and cared for family and friends children, I attend workshops and courses every year to further enhance and develop my knowledge in childcare.
I have been graded outstanding overall twice and good with outstanding safeguarding from Ofsted.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in Early Years Care and Education, SENCO level 3, ICP- Introduction to childminding Course,Early Years Foundation Stage Courses, Child Protection and Safeguarding Children levels 1,2 and 3,Makaton Vocabulary Development Courses and First Aid for Child Carers updated every 3 years, Autism training courses and other SEND, many other qualifications and training undertaken every year.
My husband is also my registered assistant and chef and his qualifications are City & Guilds 706 1 & 2 (catering) Various food and Hygiene level 2, allergy training and Health and safety (catering) Anton has also completed the child protection safeguarding level 1 and 2 courses and First Aid for Child Carers. He plans meals around healthy eating for children (has cooked for years for many celebs and the royal family!!) We have been awarded 5 star rating for our kitchen and food procedures from the Food Standards Agency.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Morning and afternoon sessions subject to availability £30.00
15hrs funded available 3x morning sessions.
30hrs funded available 3x full days with £3 per day service and consumables charge.
3 healthy meals a day, and nutritious snacks are all included.
Non funded days are payable at £55.00 per day with all meals and nutritious snacks included.

My son was with her from 1 year old until school age.
Every-time I was at work I had complete peace of mind, my son has only ever been happy and content in Nikki’s care.
Very good communication so you’re fully in the loop with end of day reports and pictures.
Nikki has assisted in my son having great manners, sharing skills, an interest in nature and great educational development to name a few!
Comfortable, clean environment with toys, learning stations and a garden play area. Nikki creates a lovely, kind friendly group between all the children which has been lovely to see their relationships develop over the years and all become great friends.
Nikki is warm and caring and has been a great support to our family and we shall miss her dearly!

Great setting, communication is amazing and nothing is too much to ask. Would not want my son to be anywhere else.

Nikki was the first childminder to our one year old daughter, and she set the bar so high that we knew it would be difficult to find someone who will look after our child the same way. Nikki is soft, she is the warmest person you will come across, she looks after children with passion and tender care. Our daughter always came home happy, and learned lots of new skills.
During our daughters time with Nikki, I was pregnant with our second baby. When I went to labour our daughter was at Nikki’s and on a way to the hospital, we informed Nikki about the situation she offered to look after our daughter until late, or even for her to stay overnight. We were overwhelmed by her kindness and help.
To summarise, your child is there for a treat if you get a chance for a place at her setting. We miss Nikki when she moved the area, and we still do!

If you get a space for your baby with Nikki you very lucky.
For every mom leaving your baby with someone for the first time can be a bit of an emotional journey, Nikki made it comfortable, easy , secure and be rest assured your baby is in good hands.
Good communication on how your baby is doing at any time of the day also you get full download of the day plus daily adventures/ routine and fun they had as well as brilliant food menu's.
My baby loved going to Nikki and Anton and sadly had to see them leave,
Great setup for kids with enough toys and space. Anyone getting a spot with Nikki and Co ..count yourself as lucky .

My daughter has been with Nikki since she was 18 months old and is only leaving due to her starting school in September.
The days are quite structured, with quiet time factored in, and the children go out of walks and to local play groups which they all seem to enjoy - it's worth noting that the activities that they do with Nikki and Anton are done in such a way that all of the children regardless of age enjoy and benefit in different ways. They spend a lot of time outdoors looking at the wildlife, trees and plants - and in the rain donning puddlesuits and wellies to splash in the puddles!
I was apprehensive when my daughter got to age 3 that I should look at pre schools in addition to Nikkis, however upon looking into EYFS, the things I was worried she may miss out on (writing ect), were things she was already excelling at with Nikki!
Nikki has been unbelievably supportive throughout our time with her, helping us navigate things like potty training, helping us understand the childcare government schemes and adapting her hours when I started going to college myself. She has always gone above and beyond for us and we're incredibly lucky to have found such a hands on childminder. Apart from being our childminder, Nikki is actively involved within the local community, looking out for other locals and the animals of the area - the stray cats of Bromley will miss Nikki when she moves!
My daughter can be a fussy eater however she always eats the meals Anton makes, and tells us all about them when she comes home!
Everyday Nikki sends me photos and an itinerary of what they've been up to.
We are saddened to be leaving Nikki and Anton after such a long time but are so happy that we had such lovely childminders and seeing how much they helped our daughter to grow
