About Me
Hi there! I am Grace, I am 27 and I am a fully qualified childcare practitioner. I currently work as a nanny in Hemel Hempstead 2 days a week, 12 hour shifts looking after 5 children ages 2, 3, 5, 8 and 10. My nanny job is very hands on and my employer is a nurse, therefore my days of work can change weekly depending on my employers shifts. Therefore, I am looking a part time 1-2 day a week nanny job, or ad-hoc services such as mothers-help or babysitting. I have a level 3 NVQ in Early Years Education and Care, I have a valid paediatric first aid qualification, I have various referees and a clean license with business insurance. My Experience
I have experience working in nurseries, schools and people’s homes as a nanny. I gained my qualification in 2017 and have been working in childcare ever since. I am totally and utterly devoted and passionate about my job; working with children is a highlight of my life. I love to know that I am helping a child to grow, develop, learn and thrive. I have newborn experience from 2 different nanny roles, I have experience with toddlers from my experience as a nursery teacher and from being a nanny, I have experience with 9 going on 19 year olds from working in after school clubs and nannying, and I have experience looking after a large amount of children at one time and controlling a chaotic environment. Additionally, I am also an Ofsted Registered nanny, so that parents are reassured that I continue my professional development and know all I need to about childcare.

Grace worked as a nanny for my 2 children in 2021. She was great with the children and the children were always safe and happy in her care. My children did lots of lovely activities with Grace and she was always friendly and on time. Grace did some housework for us and would also do batch cooking which was very helpful. She also helped to potty train my toddler and create a lovely routine for my youngest. I recommend Grace highly!!

Everybody in life needs a chance in I believe but having this person as a nanny looking after your child I would be very wary and cautious.
It’s ended on a very bad note and bitterness but the true colours eventually and through of the character of this person .
I would be cautious to have her in your home and to look after a child .
She is does not take well to feedback and becomes argumentative and aggressive. And then felt the need to bring the law involved which was totally unnecessary in regards to outstanding payment which was going to be paid on the normal date which had been verbally agreed.
Very hard to judge a person on an interview but when it comes to practice then you know .
Quite sad as I treated her very well , welcomed her in my home and did not miss treat her but if anything tried to understand and be accommodating but soon as I wrote feed back and then true colours of behaviour came through.
As a parent I am within my right to bring up points I’m not happy about but the lack of experience and maturity ended this once a lovely relationship into something quite unpleasant .
