About Me
My name is Jess, I am a Ofsted Registered Childminder. I live in a warm, welcoming and child friendly home in Prestwich. I am very active and love to explore the outdoors with the children. I enjoy giving children different opportunities they may not usually experience for example, trips to the airport, boat rides, train rides, museums, libraries, leisure centres e.c.t. I am passionate about outdoor learning and hoping to complete my Forrest school training very soon. I encourage plastic free play and majority of my resources are wooden and environment friendly. I am very ambitious and can offer unlimited opportunities for your child to learn in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
My Experience
I have multiple years managerial experience in nursery settings working with children aged 0-5 years. I have been special educational needs coordinator and first aid coordinator whilst managing staff and assessing their practice in childcare. In previous years I was a support worker for vulnerable children with complex learning difficulties. I have experience with autism, ADHD, behaviour management and many more additional needs. I have level 3 food hygiene and have a passion for cooking healthy nutritional meals in my spare time. I have excellent social skills and many years experience working in partnership with parents, carers and local authorities.

My Availability
I am available 7 days a week. 7am until 7pm. I also offer babysitting for an extra charge outside of these hours.

Jess has been our child minder for almost 2 years for both our children with our youngest starting at 7 months old. We highly recommend Jess and her setting and have had tremendous amounts of support from Jess in various areas. We’re delighted with the routines and activities that the children engage in and both children are excelling enormously in their development. We have previously noticed autistic traits in both children and have been given both support and advice on where we can go and what to do to understand the children’s needs. Nothing is too much trouble and we’re very happy with all aspects of the children’s care. Our youngest struggles with sensitive skin and frequent flares of eczema and Jess has always provided fantastic care with his prescription creams to help his skin. Both children have a fantastic bond with Jess and are excited to attend each morning. We couldn’t recommend Jess enough :)

We have been with Jess since November 2020, and all I can say is this is how childminding should be done! I went back to work early to recover from the pandemic, so my daughter was just getting up to 7 months and Jess made sure that mummy and daughter were in the best hands. My daughter hit every milestone and came on leaps and bounds with all of Jess’s help. My daughter has the best energy, appetite and social interaction for her age, and that is down to Jess. Jess takes my daughter on special outings to learn and play with her friends, I am kept up to date with updates and pics etc.
We cannot thank you enough Jess, you put so much hard work and love into what you do, and it clearly shows when I see the smile on my daughters face every day that I pick her up.

Unbelievable liars , I had a conversation twice to bring my daughter and in the last minute they just stopped replaying or now they keep me on hold for one week and booking me for a Sunday visit and again stopped replying until I called but instead of getting the address, witch btw it took again more then 24h to reply, I get a message that they fully booked until September!!!! Especially that I asked her on the phone, DO YOU HAVE SPACE? I NEED TO KNOW FOR SURE!!!!!!! And I didn’t force nobody, I just ask her YES or NO , so I can look for someone else!!!

Hi Catalina,
I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied. As I explained previously, I can not guarantee a space will be available unless a holding deposit has been paid. I have many enquires to work through and I respond as fast as I can. Unfortunately I am now fully booked up until further notice.
I appreciate you need to find childcare and my advice is to look at multiple childcare providers whilst awaiting a response. We communicate with enquires as much as we can and an immediate response is not always possible.
