Hey there! My name is Rachael, I’m a qualified nursery teacher who also teaches English to children aged 5-8 in my free time.
Im currently at university, so I’d be great help for holiday cover.
I’m a very friendly, open minded person who has a real passion caring for children. Im the eldest of five sisters, I think my passion for childcare comes from this. I’m very nurturing, caring, flexible individual who can adapt to different needs in my field of work.
I have lots of nursery rhymes stored in my head, which at times I catch myself singing in my own home. I’m able to complete hygiene routines and bedtimes for children, if it’s required.
My Experience
I have lots of experience - from being a volunteer at summer camps to being an AuPair in China to being a nursery teacher throughout the years. I also have a paediatric first aid qualification which is kept up to date every two years.

We were contacted by Rachael on the 27th of July for our job listing asking for a nanny to look after our daughter on the morning of 7th August. It was a 6am start and we understand not everyone is wanting to be up at that time but it was Rachael who contacted first.
It was for a planned C-section at the hospital for the arrival of our 2nd child. We had back and forth conversation up until the 29th of July and Rachael had planned to meet us at our home on the 2nd of August to introduce our daughter and go over routines etc. She knew this was an important date coming up for us on the 7th of August and chose to ignore us and our messages both on this platform and Whatsapp without giving any reason as to why we were now being ghosted. She has been online on the site several times since ghosting us so it's not a case of she hasn't had access to the site.
Thankfully we found someone else in time but in my opinion is Rachael is unprofessional and unreliable especially for those who may need her at a critical time.
