About Me
I provide professional private tutoring and babysitting services for children from Year 1 to Year 7, specialising in Maths, English, and Science according to the primary and early secondary school curriculum. I also provide Maths lessos for GCSE students at a KS3 level (year 9). My tutoring is tailored to meet each child’s individual learning needs, helping them build confidence, improve understanding, and make learning an enjoyable experience. I offer homework support, exam preparation, and work to fill in any learning gaps, ensuring that each session is effective and engaging.
In addition to tutoring, I also offer reliable babysitting and childcare services, where I create a safe, caring, and fun environment for children. Whether it’s assisting with homework, maintaining daily routines, or organising activities and play, I always focus on making sure children are happy and well-cared for. I understand the importance of maintaining a positive and comfortable environment for both children and parents.
My Experience
I have 2 years of teaching experience, supporting children from Year 1 to Year 7 with Maths, English, and Science, following both the primary and early secondary school curriculum. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and to help build confidence at every stage.
In addition to tutoring, I also have 1 year of babysitting experience and have provided care for toddlers from ages 4-10. Whether it’s assisting with homework, play, bedtime routines, as well as planning food times, I always aim to create a safe and positive environment for children.
My Qualifications
I hold Level 3 qualifications in Business and Child Psychology, both achieved with Distinction*, giving me valuable knowledge about how children learn and develop. I’m also fully insured, have a full UK driving licence and my own car, so I’m flexible and able to travel.
I am currently studying Accounting and Finance at university, which reflects my strong skills in Maths, organisation, and attention to detail. My academic journey has strengthened my problem-solving abilities and taught me to be patient, and clear when explaining complex topics which are skills I apply directly when tutoring children in Maths, English, and Science from Year 1 to Year 9.
I have also achieved my GCSES, and a level 1 qualification in Safeguarding for work and Education.

Fay has been a wonderful help with my 7yr old boy who has special needs, she has been looking after him in the mornings, and I honestly really appreciate how attentive and helpful she is with things I need. it is clear she genuinely cares, and my son feels comfortable and safe with her which means so much to me as a parent. She’s also reliable and always on time, which has been a huge help with my morning routine. I would really recommend Fay to any parent, especially those looking for someone experienced with special needs children. She’s been an absolute blessing to our family.

Fay has been absolutely incredible in helping my son prepare for his GCSEs in both Maths and English. Thanks to her dedicated support and patient teaching style, he achieved an A* in both subjects! She takes the time to explain things clearly, builds confidence, and truly cares about her students’ progress. I couldn’t recommend her more highly – an excellent tutor through and through!
