Home from Home!

Angie has been my daughter's childminder (now 5 years old) for over one year since we moved to Edinburgh. This was a new city with a whole host of new surroundings for my child (and ourselves). I got in contact with Angie via message through childcare.uk and Angie could not have been more accommodating (it was a Sunday Afternoon!).

On arrival, Angie lives a beatiful quiet cul-de-sac (where we live now!) and welcomed us into her beautful home. She has a large livingroom with conservatory and lovely back garden. Well suited for children of all ages. Angie and her family could have not be more welcoming and still to this day nothing has changed.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience with Angie and her family and really helped my daughter to settle into her new surroundings. This could not have been done without such a home from home environment. Angie is a natural nuturer and the children just love her!

I can definitely recommend Angie. She is a lovely and warm person, very reliable and responsible. I never worried about leaving my son with her. Angie has a real love for children which is evident in her work.

I have absolutely no hestitation in saying how much my son loved going to Angie.

Angie was always keeping my son busy with different activities like outings, baking, crafts, pre-school sessions, walks, story time.. My son also loved playing outside in Angie’s fabulous garden. There was never a dull moment!

She kept in touch with me during the day, even sending me little pics of what Tony was getting up to.

Tony has come on leaps and bounds, with his confidence and and language skills blossoming under Angie care.


Due to a change of my personal circumstances I was absolutely gutted having to leave Angie, otherwise I would have kept on with Angie.


All in all, an amazing, kind hearted, friendly lady who I would definitely recommend!

Excellent Childminder

Angie has been looking after my children since moving to Edinburgh 6 years ago.
My daughter and son love coming to Angie’s it feels like second home to them.
She picks them up from school, does lots a tivties with them, baking, parka and outings.
Always there to help in an emergency and available if required at last minute.
Can’t thank Angie enough making my children feel like they have second home.

great childcare

Angie is suchfunans cares for my kids as her own, lots of activities done each week. Bakes, playdough, painting and visits to ths park for lots of fresh air.
Fab childcare!!
