About Me
I am a registered childminder with lots of child care experience, I offer flexible full and part time hours working with you to provide the best start for your child.
I live in Churchdown with my husband and 3 of my 4 children 2 of which are often working during opening hours my youngest is adopted and is at junior school.
I have been registered as a childminder since January 2012, previously working for a children's day nursery for 8 years.
We provide a homely setting with a indoor and outdoor space. I try to keep numbers low, around 3, to allow each child time, space and individual attention. In my experience this works well in conjunction with a pre-school setting, giving the child both homely and a larger social experience. I back this up with toddler groups, trips to the library, outings and forest school.
The house is within walking distance of the park, school and pre-school.
My Experience
I have been involved in child care since leaving school in many forms including nanny, pre school, nursery and childminding.
After having my own children I have worked in a pre-school for 2 years until we moved to Somerset I then started as a Childminder while my own children were young. For 8 years I have been working a children's day nursery, which I enjoyed but returned to childminding in 2012.

I work Monday to Friday from 6.00am until 6.00pm but flexible to work around these times.
I provide full time and part time care as well as before and after school collecting from Parton Manor school.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge £5.00 per hour this includes everything that your child will need or do whilst in my care with the exception of formula milk and nappies.
It will include outings, wet wipes, craft and all other costs.
I can accept 2 year old funding as well as 3-4 year old funding and many working vouchers.
Now also accepting 9 months old funding
I take 4 weeks unpaid holiday a year, often 1 week at Easter, 2 weeks in the summer and 1 week over the Christmas period.
