Hi all, I'd totally recommend Aga.
She is a lovely person, always organized at work,highly professional and reliable.
My daughter loves it there. The groups are small, the setting itself is spacious and clean and Aga really connects with the kids. Aga has always shown a focus on nurturing every child's individual interests and development and what is most important kids feel like at their second home in Aga's.
The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming.
All in all couldn't ask for more, highly recommend👌

Outstanding , Bilingual nursery !
My daughter started at 2 years now 4.5 years old speaks Polish very well , can read letters , number and write and spell her name and not only . My daughter has learnt a lot of things since she water to become independent.
Aga has very warming personality is good with kids and has a lots of knowledge always willing to give advice.
I would highly recommend any parent to send his/ her child to Aga you want regret it
House always clean a child well fed .

Being an English person with a Polish wife, it was important for us that our child has as much exposure to Polish language as possible, since we knew once she is going to normal school, she'll have plenty of English influence there. We struggled to find any kind of language forward setting for Polish speaking kids, but Aga was a lifesaver. They sing songs, do activities and converse in Polish which is vital for learning the language. Aga has also been very accomodating and is extremely helpful and easy to approach. Our daughter comes home clean, fed and happy!
Aga keeps us updated about daily activities and sends us photos. We trust her and we whole heartedly recommended her!

Unfortunately we are moving out from Croydon area in April. Actually Aga was the main reason why we decided to stay in the area slightly longer than we have planned. My friend Natalia recommend Aga as the best childminder I could wish to meet for my son. Filippo’s first day was a day after his 2nd birthday. Aga was very honest, and straight away told me she is going to let me know if Filippo is ready or is too early for him. Aga is great with kids. She has very warm personality but the most important she is teaching them discipline. Filippo loves Aga’s house. Always very tidy and well organised and we love the fact that she has a cat and dog. My son Filippo is half Polish and aside of have learned English thanks to Aga he speaks Polish too. Overall you can wish for a better person than Aga! Filippo is going to miss Aga and his friends.

Aga is a great professional very well educated, organised at work and with a big heart for what she does. She was first teacher for my little daughter and my daughter just loved her. Nothing else needed to know that your child is in good hands. My daughter has been learned so many things to become more independent toddler ☺️. I do recommend Aga.

I couldn't ask for better person to take care of my first born daughter!!
As overprotective first Time Mom, it was hard to let Agnieszka (or anyone) to keep an eye for my little one. But she is amazing, in what she is doing.
You won't regret, leaving your precious Child with her. I'm more than grateful to Agnieszka , for how she took care of my daughter. Mia was always feed well, clean, with huge smile on her face, after all Day of fun and joy.
I have cried on the first and last day of Mia day care with Agnieszka. That's how truly close to our hearts she become.
If we have not moved to different area, I would be still using her service, as there no better childminder than Agnieszka.
Highly recommended!

As a first time mom the stress you go through in order to find a right place and right person for your child is incredible. My son joined Aga's group at the age close to 2 yo. Within the first day I was reassured and I knew this was the perfect place for him. The care and love he receives we all felt very quickly. He is now 3,5 yo and he loves spending time with his colleagues and Aga. She plays a huge role in his life and development. He has become very independent in his day to day life and very creative. Aga is always happy to offer assistance and honest opinion along with advice. I can truly say she is like extended family. I cant wait to send my second little one however he still needs to wait his turn 😍

Aga looks after my 4 year old son and he just loves spending time at her setting , playing with other kids and learning new skills. Aga provides a large variety of activities . She is very caring and friendly - couldn’t find a better place .

It was a pleasure to have cared for you little boy and to have known you all.
Aga is well respected childminder by her pupils and by the parents who leave their children in safe hands. From the very first day of settling my son loved the environment and blended in with other children in no time. Aga carefully observe each needs of the children and set appropriate tasks for individuals to help develop essential skills.
She promote independence , respect, manners and hygiene. The only downside that I found is that all children are going for a nap regardless the age group as some children don’t have routine of napping through the day. I still would recommend her to any parent as the child really learn a lot and enjoy being there.

Thank you Gosia for the review.It was a pleasure to have your little one with me.In response to a nap time ,yes all children that I care for in my setting go to sleep after lunch.For young kids to get enough of it, most need some daytime sleep it is a much-needed downtime that aids the important physical and mental development that happens in early childhood.Some of the most important reasons why naps are so important:Naps enhance learning, are linked to better emotional regulation,naps support better nighttime sleep. Recent researches fund that when the children were allowed a siesta after lunch they performed significantly better on a visual-spatial tasks in the afternoon and the next day than when they were denied a midday snoozeFollowing a nap, children recalled 10% more of the information they were being tested on than they did when they had been kept awake.
Close monitoring of 14 additional youngsters who came to the researchers' sleep lab revealed the processes at work in the brain during asleep.
As the children napped, they experienced increased activity in brain regions linked with learning and integrating new information.Rebecca Spencer(University of Massachusetts Amherst) said: "Essentially we are the first to report evidence that naps are important for preschool children.
"Our study shows that naps help the kids better remember what they are learning in preschool."
I have always felt very comfortable leaving my son with Aga, knowing she provides a caring, friendly, loving and safe environment. My son has settled in there from our first visit. Aga setting is perfectly set up with lots of toys. She 8s extremely knowledgeable about child development and will shere her experience with you. During the day she sends updates and photos which are really reassuring your child is safe and enjoying the time. I couldn't imagine better place for my son. I can see he become more independent and more open to other people.
I would recommend her to everyone.

We are so very thankful to have found Aga and for her to be my child's carer. My son spent 2 years in Agnieszka home and always came home looking happy and calm. His development was greatly enhanced by being in a solid, fun, regular environment.
Aga is a very efficient, capable, loving person. Lovely to see each day.

We are very happy with Aga’s childcare. Our daughter enjoys the time she spends at Aga’s and she has never cried when going to nursery. From the first time we entered Aga’s house we felt it is the right place for our daughter. The atmosphere is very nice and the environment very safe for kids. Aga is a very warm and open minded person who often gives good advice on child’s development and upbringing. I really trust her and believe it was the best childcare choice I could make when returning to work. I do not have to constantly worry when being at work as I know my daughter is in good hands.

It’s a real pleasure to have known you and your little one . I always strive to go beyond limits to create a wonderful learning environment for all our kids.
I am extremely happy with sending my son and daughter to this nursery. When you go to work you want to know that your child is safe and happy. I always feel this way. My kids learnt so much since attending. They made friends and enjoying loads of different activities. Every member of staff is compassionate and seem to really enjoy being around the children. I can not imagine sending my kids to another nursery. I would recommend this nursery to everyone!

When I saw for the first time all those positive comments about Aga's childcare I knew straight away she must be a wonderful person, providing excellent service for kids from neighbourhood. As every mother I want the best for my child so I booked interview shortly. My son loved that place from very beginning. Friendly helpers, specious playroom, beutiful garden - I couldn't imagine any better place for him. Its been two years now and he is still happy to attend! Atmosphere is just lovely, with many facilities, equipment being replaced regularly to keep kids occupied with the things they love the most, also providing them preparation for further education in the same time.
I couldn't be more happy with any other childminder. Even if my house is relatively far from Aga's is definitely worth to travel there every day. For happiness and wellbeing of my child and also for my own peace of mind, which only Aga can provide.

We were lucky to find Agas setting and get place for our son. As I expected this home based childcare is personalised and definitely is NOT another nursing factory (which is unfortunately common in London). Our son adopted fast and made friends. Connection and personal relationship which Agnieszka creating with children as well as home like environment is very supportive in development in early years. And! After only couple of months our son is starting speak second language.
Highly recommended.

Our son has been going to Aga’s for a year now and he absolutely adores her. He has days when he doesn’t want to come home when I go to pick him up which shows that he is comfortable and having fun.
Aga is friendly, well read, flexible and always smiling. She is very professional and takes time to update us about our son’s progress. Aga provides a safe, friendly and educational environment and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding childminder.

Our son has been attending Aga's daycare for a year and I highly recommend her to any parent looking for an exceptional childcare provider. Aga is absolutely lovely! She is experienced, genuinely very caring and approachable. Our son is so well looked after and I can't thank Aga enough. I have peace of mind knowing that he is well taken care of every day, in a safe, nurturing environment with loads of fun, educational activities and healthy meals. My eldest son attended other childcare settings and in comparison, Aga is by far the best! Thank You Aga!!!

We sent our little boy to Aga's care when he was 12 months old and he's truly excelled and learned loads at her lovely setting! She let's children explore to satisfy their inquisitive minds, all the while teaching them manners and social skills of sharing and being caring around other younger children and animals. She's truly been a blessing in our lives as she's provided a loving and nurturing environment for our son ...a home away from home! She's also very friendly, approachable and caring as a person which helps build a trusting relationship with both children and parents alike :) We can't imagine our lives without her and are very happy with the decision of sending our son to her!
We had special food requirements which she has accommodated us with and is always available for a phone call if we have questions about our son'so ever changing behaviour as we've been a bit clueless with our first born :) Very happy overall and highly recommend!!!

We are so truely bless to have Aga looking after our little boy. It tells us a lot if our child wakes up in the morning and looks forward going to the childminders. Childming service is outstanding. Every day I go to work and I know my child is safe, has every opportunity to engage with his age friends and take every advantage to develop. Aga's postive approach helps our little feel more confident . We appreciate well structured routine and discipline our little one is learning at childminders. We do not see anyone else looking after our boy. Aga is best child minder ever!!

Aga is not only an amazing person but also brilliant educator. My little one felt at her home based nursery like at her own home. Knowing that my daughter feel happy there I had no worries at all. Aga has honestly been the best childminder I have had for my son. Her caring, friendly and pleasant manner made my son feel instantly welcome and secure. Her delightful house, with one room dedicated to children's play and activities, was the perfect environment for my son to be entertained and stimulated. He always enjoyed going there and requested to go to Aga's even when I didn't need a childminder! There was the opportunity to play outside in her child-friendly garden and this was an added attraction for my son. The house is clean, bright and inviting. My son always ate well there, too, and was given a range of healthy and filling meals.
Aga's professional and friendly service was much appreciated. She was very understanding, too, if I needed to change the arrangement and this level of customer care is rare these days. A big thank you Aga from my son and myself!

Aga helped us for 2 weeks while our usual childminder was on holiday.
The children really took to Aga, due to her friendly and warm manner. She did daily activities with them, ranging from art & craft to water works and playing with sand.
I had been nervous about the temporary childcare, but Aga's excellent way of dealing with them both, put me quickly at ease. The children felt very happy with her and I can highly recommend her and will definitely be asking her again if I need additional childcare.

Aga is positive and professional in her approach on all levels and is flexible and accommodating to the parents' and child's individual needs.
On a personal level Aga is a very kind person of high moral standing. She is calm, intelligent and non-judgmental.

Aga is a caring and experienced childminder. She puts a lot of effort into making sure all children are being looked after and feel comfortable. Our twin girls started at the age of 10months as I had to unexpectedly return to work early and their time without me has been filled with joy and a lot of attention. They have developed various skills whilst at Something Special and they surprise us every day with new achievements. Aga prepares fabolous activites which kill boredom that we-parents serve our children so often. Meals are homecooked, healthy and varied throughout the week. There are plenty of great toys for kiddies to explore and an amazing outdoor space. Aga incorporates some of montessori philosophies and also teaches toddlers good maners. If you are also scared about leaving your child with a stranger then I do highly recommend Something Special - you will not be disappointed!

Something Special Home Based Childcare
It is not easy to find the words to describe Aga's little nursery. It is not a place where I leave my son worrying like most parents ,it is a second home .Aga is an auntie with lots of kids ...
It is a home filled with children who are happy to go there everyday and have lots of fun.
I am a demanding person myself and was looking for a long time until I found Aga's place and it was not easy to find something as good .
Now I feel happy leaving my son with Aga knowing that he is happy too.Alan feels like in his own home and has also opportunities to play with other children.
Aga apart from having lots of childcare qualifications and experience is first and foremost a warm and friendly person not only towards the children but parents too.
In one short sentence Something Special Childcare is an amazing little family like childcare setting...a home.

Aga has been been looking after my child for over two years now.My daughter was only 6 months when she started attending Aga's little setting.During that time I noticed many positive changes in my little girl's behaviour and development.
Aga is very committed in her work with children but most of all very warm and of cheerful disposition.She would treat all the children as they are their own and the children feel that!
Aga is great if it comes to manage child's behaviour she has an appropriate knowledge and skills to do it easily and would give parents useful advice on any child related issue you might have when asked.
There is lots of hugs and cuddles in Aga's setting as well as prize for the smallest achievement!
There is no boredom with Aga as there are lots activities in her place indoors and outdoors as well as occasional trips to parks,libraries or play groups.Every day is an attractive and full of fun .
Aga prepares healthy meals and snacks and the children are never hungry .
I recommend Aga to any parents that are looking for a great childcare provider, with all my heart as she is fair,honest and with an excellent knowledge and experience about child development and your child will be safe and happy with her.

Aga has been childminding my son Filip (19 months) since August 2014. She looks after him for 39 hours each week.
I have been extremely happy with the care Filip has received, and the great progress he has made whilst in 'Something Special' care. Aga's home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and Filip has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this though,
She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise. I know Filip has recently enjoyed sand and water play, drawing and painting, reading and puzzles.
Filip is a great communicator and has no trouble in gaining confidence and therefore encouraging good behaviour and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which are important to us at home. When Filip steps outside his boundaries she responds with firm but kind discipline explaining what we would like to see in terms which he understands. When he is hurt or feeling under the weather, I know that he feels happy to be comforted by her and I am confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure his health and safety.
Although She provide Filip’s meals each day, I know that she will provide healthy snacks such as vegetable's and fruits. I am also aware that Aga ensures good personal hygiene in encouraging all the children to wash their hands before eating and after using the toilet. I’m sure that it is this practice together with the cleanliness of Aga’s home which has ensured that Filip has remained healthy.
Aga completes a diary detailing what Filip has done each day. From this I have a complete picture of his whole day including what he has eaten, how long he has slept and all his activities. This helps me to feel involved with his care and that I can talk to him about his day. Aga send me a picture with my son activities in 'something special'
In all, I am thoroughly happy with the level of care Filip receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping him develop into a confident and self assured little boy.
I would absolutely recommend Aga ('Something Special') as a great and reliable child minder. The most important thing is that she treat every child with love.

There's something very special about the childcare that Aga provides. One of the best things about Aga is that she quickly understands the unique personality and needs of each child, and she works with this personality, rather than putting pressure on the child to be one way or another. This allows the child to thrive. Our child was at Aga's from age two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half. Aga's childcare was a great stepping-stone between being looked after at home, and by family and friends, to starting at pre-school. Aga provides a nurturing, safe and lively environment, where she looks after children of various ages, and our little girl thrived in the friendly family atmosphere of Aga's home. She learned to make friends, and got to enjoy dressing up, singing songs, playing outside, and many other activities. Aga has set up a wonderful little playroom for the children, and the children can go in and out to the garden, as they like, and Aga does not shut them out of any other space in the house. The children have a great balance between structure and being child-led. It reflects Aga's educational achievements and her determination to continue her professional development in various ways.
Aga is amazingly flexible. When she can, she will try to accommodate even last minute changes in plan. This worked really well for me, because I worked part-time, and the hours changed from month to month, occasionally week to week. Aga helped out with this unpredictability as much as she possibly could. Aga is very easy to talk to. If you have any concerns or questions, Aga always listens and makes sure she understands what it is you are looking for. Because Aga provides such reliable child care, local families who do not want to send their little ones to full-time full-on nursery find Aga's childcare a fantastic alternative. Her home is like a small-scale nursery, with the advantage of a small teacher-to-child ratio. Aga also keeps regular notes on the child's progress, and sends photographs and drawings home.
I would say that Aga's home-based childminding is a great alternative for parents who work odd hours, and don't want full-time childcare in a packed, large nursery, but want safe, reliable childcare, in an environment where their child will still get to play with other children and do all the usual activities that go on in a nursery. Aga is keen on building a successful and thriving childcare option. In our situation, she even registered to provide three-year-old funding for our girl. This helped us stay with Aga for longer. I would say the key to working with Aga to give your child the best childcare is to be open with her, and speak to her about what you are looking for. Aga tries to work with that, and the children make great friends, that they later miss when they move on from Aga's! We have certainly made friends with other parents, who share our way of raising children. One of the best things about Aga's home is that you feel safe and comfortable leaving your precious little ones there. Thanks, Aga. We'll miss you!

We first met Aga in September 2012. Following a long search for a potential carer for our son, meeting Aga was a pleasant and positive experience. She is an outstanding carer who takes great pride in her work and is a perfectionist in all that she does. She looks after our son with love and care and he looks forward to seeing her every day. She has been a part of our family ever since and has supported us to raise a son with good manners, confidence and has set him up for the various challenges he has faced (a new brother, preparing for pre-school and for the wider world). We tentatively sent our 8 month old recently with no intention for him to be with a carer until a much later stage, however, his first brief trip with his older brother to see Aga went so well, with both boys clearly benefitting from their time with her, that the 8 month old now goes on a regular basis. We had always thought that such a young child should be at home if possible and we have the luxury of that option, but it was obvious that he benefitted from the three hour play sessions with Aga and her well-equipped set up. Her success with the children is in part due to her calm and warm manner which the children sense instantly. We have no hesitation in recommending her to any parent.
