Sitara cared for my twins from the age of one through to four on a full-time basis. Without a doubt, she is adept at the twin thing which in my mind makes her quite special.
As an individual, Sitara is diligent and understands small babies' requirements. Sitara is:
- Confident, caring and patient
- Gives time to feedback on the activities, meals eaten or not liked during the day
- High level of understanding of how her role fitted within the family
- Managing nap times (key with twins) and did this better than anyone I had also considered and better than me!
- Preparing and serving meals and healthy snacks
- The need to change the schedule when babies turn into toddlers
Sitara has an unlimited amount of patience, and for me, this is where Sitara wins the day, she has the patience of a ‘saint’, is proactive in organising outings and is a great coach for toddlers to use their words rather than actions.
She has always and continues to take an interest in 'the twins’ development and what they were up to during holiday times.
She is very honest, reliable and trustworthy and evolves with the changing needs of a baby to a toddler. In summary, Sitara possesses all the qualities that made a great addition to our family, with a kind character and a safe pair of hands for the twins to feel loved from. Sitara's approach is certainly one of calm and consideration.

Sitara has looked after Lukas (11 months) since he was 6 months old. She has a very calm and peaceful demeanor that makes a child at ease from the moment they met. Even though she is calm and relaxed with a baby, she is for sure on the ball when it comes to any aspect of childcare. Not only her experience as a childminder, but also as a mother of four, is invaluable, especially to the first time mums, and she can offer advice when asked. She always made sure to do what I asked when it came to feeding and activities. Punctuality /time keeping and communication is very important for working mums, and Sitara was impecable - always on time, always confirms and checks before and after visits, always keeps me informed on feeds, naps and whereabouts. I also get the cutest unexpected pictures of my baby! I can leave my baby to be woken by Sitara in the morning, do a quick handover if necessary and just have peace of mind when Lukas is with Sitara. Lukas loves her, and so do I - she is a part of our household now!

We were fortunate to have Sitara as our babysitter for six wonderful months, and I can't recommend her highly enough. Sitara's warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for children made her an invaluable part of our family.
Her exceptional childcare skills were evident from the start. She engaged with our older daughter, Athena (4 years old at the time and epileptic), in age-appropriate activities, demonstrating creativity in role-playing and crafts that greatly enriched Athena's experience and development.
With our youngest, Aliki, just a few months old at the time, Sitara's expertise in infant care shone through. She was meticulous in attending to Aliki's needs, creating a secure and nurturing environment that put our minds at ease.
What truly set Sitara apart was her commitment to transparency. Whenever she took the kids to the playground, she would provide detailed updates on their activities and well-being. To share in our daughters' joy, Sitara thoughtfully sent us photos, allowing us to feel connected even when we were away.
Sitara was not only responsible and reliable but also an excellent communicator. Regular updates on meals and activities kept us informed and reassured.
In summary, Sitara is an exceptional caregiver, highly qualified, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of the children under her care. Our family is grateful for the positive impact she made on our daughters' lives. If you're seeking a reliable and loving babysitter, look no further.
