Hi I'm Krystal, I am an OFSTED registered childminder covering the Hockley, Ashingdon & Rochford areas and have spaces available.
I live in a lovely detached house with private driveway and safe, secure garden. I have a dedicated playroom, equipped with a wide range of resources, suitable for all ages. I live within walking distance of local parks, shops and playgroups but also drive and have my own vehicle with appropriate insurance.
Being a mum myself I understand how overwhelming it can be trying to find the right childcare provider for your little one! That's why I am passionate about providing the highest quality of care to ensure your little one enjoys their time with me.
My Experience
Prior to starting my own family I worked as a support worker in a special needs School. I worked closely with children of all ages, most of whom had special education needs. Here I gained my level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools which required me to have an excellent understanding of the EYFS and the developmental milestones children should be reaching. I am also trained in managing all types of challenging behaviour as well as PECS and Makaton.

My daughter has been with Krystal since April 2021, I was apprehensive as with lockdown etc leaving my daughter was difficult and wasn’t sure how she would be. Krystal updated me with regular messages to reassure me she was ok and when it came to pick her up she didn’t want to leave!!
My daughter has formed a really strong bond with Krystal, her sons, and all the other children that she looks after.
I had originally enrolled at a much larger childcare but am so glad I changed because it’s so much more personal and I know my daughter is well looked after (she always asks me when she is going again!) and it is so reassuring for me.
Could not recommend enough!

I've never had to use a childminder before and was really anxious to begin with. Krystal was really helpful when it came to making the initial arrangements, meeting the children prior and confirming final arrangements.
Krystal was attentive to all of my 5 children's needs, 2 of which having additional needs, and was also very reasonable and structured when it came to working out costs.
All school runs were made on time and all of my children were happy on return. They also said they'd feel happy and comfortable if I needed Krystal to help in the future.
Friendly and professional, would recommend to others.
